The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nick's CEO Offer – Victor Snubs Adam After Victoria’s Ashland Disaster?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may get an interim CEO offer. Will Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) snub Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) after Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) disaster at Newman-Locke?

Y&R fans can expect Victor to tackle a crisis thanks to firm evidence that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) lied about his lung cancer.

Victor will try to drive Ashland out of town, but Ashland won’t surrender that easily.

Things are going to get ugly as Ashland fights back, so Victoria and Victor will go to war for a bit, too.

However, this whole situation seems poised to turn into a family nightmare and a serious PR debacle.

There’s a good chance Victoria will be out as CEO by the end of all this.

Who will Victor appoint to take Victoria’s place? That could get tricky since Victor tends to be so hot and cold when it comes to Adam.

Victor claims to believe in his son, but sometimes his actions suggest otherwise.

There was no reason for Victor to throw a hissy fit over what might’ve happened after Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) called off his revenge plot – just like there was no reason for Victor to suddenly take a more active role and humiliate Adam.

Victor doesn’t seem to fully trust Adam, so is he really going to put his riskiest son on the throne?

That may not be something Victor is willing to do – at least not right now.

Victor may think it’s too much of a gamble and turn to Nick as the one to lead the ship out of this catastrophe.

That brings us to the conversation Victor had with Nick in the February 16 episode. Victor reminded Nick that there’d always be a place for him at Newman.

There was lots of talk about the family business that Nick walked away from, so maybe Y&R’s about to thrust him back into that business.

Victor can’t stand it if his kids aren’t fighting, so this move may cause problems for Nick and Adam in the not-too-distant future.

Of course, Victor might act like he just doesn’t want to disrupt Adam and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) flow at Newman Media.

Victor may contend that Adam should keep training Sally and focus on the media merger.

That would possibly leave Nick to handle the big picture at Newman-Locke – or just Newman Enterprises assuming they ditch Locke’s name.

Adam would no doubt feel snubbed anyway, so there’d be the potential for another round of drama within the Newman clan.
