The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will make a discovery that will stun GC, but will he find Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) corpse or Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) kidnapped? Let’s talk about Nick’s investigation and what he might stumble upon when he slips in Victoria’s home.
For starters, viewers can expect Nick to grow troubled over Ashland’s mental state.
Nick will encounter Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who’ll also have concerns about the threat Ashland poses to Victoria.
Although Nick will act like the Newmans are handling it, Billy will add to his worries and make Nick decide he’d better go check on Victoria.
Meanwhile, there’ll be some eerie moments as Ashland glares at Victoria through the French doors of her place and gives her a shock.
Victoria will insist she’s going to call the cops on Ashland, but he’ll fire back that he isn’t a threat.
However, Ashland will also point out that he’s a man with nothing left to lose and leave Victoria fearful of his next move.
That brings us back to Nick, who’ll knock on Victoria’s door and see that the lights are on.
Nick will decide that maybe Victoria is asleep and will nearly take off when he doesn’t get a response.
Before Nick can walk away, he’ll get a feeling that something is off and decide to sneak in through the back way.
That’ll give Nick a chance to make that stunning discovery we mentioned, but what’s it going to be?
It’s possible that Nick will find Ashland’s dead body – perhaps with a traumatized Victoria nearby following a final showdown.
Victoria might be too shaken up over the ordeal to even hear Nick or call 911.
Then again, it’s possible Victoria will take off running – setting the stage for someone who followed Ashland to kill him.
That’d create the potential for some murder mystery suspects.
Another option might be for Nick to discover the aftermath of a struggle.
There might be overturned tables, smashed vases and other signs that Ashland came after Victoria.
Nick’s shocking discovery could be that Victoria is gone following her abduction.
However, the fact that Nick’s going to land at Victoria’s place while Ashland is there or at least immediately after could be significant.
After all, the Newmans could’ve discovered Victoria was missing when she didn’t show up to work or through a ransom demand from Ashland.
There must be a reason the writers want Nick to arrive right away and make this discovery himself.
Y&R might want the shock of Nick either stopping Ashland in a violent moment or finding him dead on the floor following a tussle with Victoria or someone else.
No matter how this plays out, Ashland will spiral out of control and seems to be moving toward the end of his Y&R stint.
