The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) war may soon be back on. Will some Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) conflict give Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) a reason to worry?
So far, things are going pretty well in Sally and Adam’s romance.
They’ve got some Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) issues, but those are nothing they can’t handle.
Sally really gets Adam – and he understands her, too. They truly are a great match, but soap couples always face some drama along the way.
Adam rejected Chelsea romantically, but he still cares about her as his former flame and Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) mother.
There’s a part of Adam that’s protective when it comes to Chelsea, so that side of him may come out soon.
Chelsea is growing increasingly interested in Rey – and it’s obvious she likes him as more than a friend based on that steamy dream.
It’s probably only a matter of time until Chelsea starts thinking she can win Rey for herself.
Of course, this could become a situation that Adam inserts himself in.
Adam might confront Rey about leading Chelsea on and giving her the wrong idea about their connection.
Then again, Adam might sense that Rey is legitimately interested in Chelsea and grow concerned about how that might affect Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Chelsea and Rey’s strengthening bond could be a bad idea any way you slice it from Adam’s perspective.
Adam could easily start witnessing some close moments between Rey and Chelsea – especially if Chelsea notices Adam watching and starts playing things up to provoke jealousy.
Meanwhile, Sally could get pretty jealous herself if Adam fights to protect both his exes.
Adam is always going to have strong ties to Sharon and Chelsea, so those could end up becoming a problem.
As Rey and Adam’s feud reignites, Sally may be reminded of all Adam’s baggage and struggle with how connected he still is to his exes.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Adam will face some new challenges in their romance as time goes on, so stay tuned.
