The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) could become an anonymous penthouse buyer and enrage Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) by moving in Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) old place.
There’s been a ton of talk about all the memories and “Chadam” ghosts that haunt Chelsea, so she doesn’t want to live in the home she used to share with Adam anymore.
Chelsea is ready to move out and start fresh somewhere new.
Sally supposedly has an apartment somewhere, but Y&R fans have never seen it.
Meanwhile, the penthouse is a perfectly good set – just waiting for someone to move in after Chelsea makes the sale.
For the sake of drama, it’d be great if Sally could be the one to take over Adam and Chelsea’s former home together.
Chelsea would never want to sell to Sally, but maybe Sally could get sneaky and put in an anonymous bid for the place.
Since Chelsea is so fed up with Adam and eager to leave the penthouse behind, it could lead to her not caring who wants it.
Chelsea may be fine with a rushed sale to just about anyone. At least Chelsea may feel that way until the sale is ultimately finalized or on the verge of it!
What if Chelsea comes to realize she’s unknowingly let her real estate agent work out a deal with Sally?
Chelsea might relent to avoid the headache of trying to undo it, but she wouldn’t be happy about it.
Putting Sally in the penthouse would be an exciting twist that could lead to all kinds of new issues.
After all, Sally and Chelsea’s work drama could be on the verge of imploding the Newman Fashion team.
If Sally gets forced out, you’d better believe she’ll retaliate – and what better way to do that than by scooping up Adam’s old home turf?
Chelsea would be furious thinking about Sally luring Adam over to the penthouse and trying to get him in bed with her.
Of course, we also know Adam wants to move out of the tack house on the ranch, so he could even end up crashing with Sally – especially after his feud with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) gets out of hand.
Can you imagine if Sally and Adam make love for the first time at the penthouse?
That sounds like something Sally would love to gloat to Chelsea about later!
Naturally, it might take some work for Sally to come up with enough money to buy the place, but she’s proven she can do anything she sets her mind to.
It wouldn’t be that hard to sell some wedding dress designs and capitalize on the fame Sally achieved by designing Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) gown.
Bottom line, there’s been a ton of focus on this penthouse being put up for sale, so we have to wonder who’ll buy it.
If Y&R wants to deliver the most dramatic option possible, they’ll plop Sally in Adam and Chelsea’s old home to stir up more trouble!
