The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will have a nasty showdown. This feud will explode as these rivals hit each other where it hurts, so let’s talk about the buildup to this furious faceoff.
During the week of August 22-26, it’ll be easy for anyone around Chelsea to see that she’s crushing on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Chelsea will try to deny it, but her feelings for Billy will become intense and tough to ignore.
Sally has already had moments where she seemed intrigued over Billy and Chelsea’s bond.
The closer Chelsea gets to Billy, the more convinced Sally may become that Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) relationship is at risk.
If Sally witnesses Chelsea flirting with Billy or showing off a romantic-looking vibe, she may not be able to hold her tongue.
That’s especially true since Chelsea can never hold her own!
Whenever Chelsea sees Sally, she pretty much always approaches and takes jabs about Sally’s breakup with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
There’s no reason to think Chelsea will suddenly decide to stop pouring salt in the wound.
Instead, Chelsea may once again corner Sally and push her buttons over losing Adam.
That could put Sally in the position to fight back with some accusations about Chelsea going after Lily’s man.
Sally might even strike a low blow by bringing up Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Chelsea has a bad habit of becoming attracted to men who aren’t available to her.
Billy may not be married like Rey was to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), but he’s made a commitment to Lily – one that could be shaken after Chelsea plants a forbidden kiss.
As for Sally and Chelsea’s conflict, it’ll erupt in a big way during the week of August 29-September 2.
