The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will declare her love for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). This surprise admission will deepen their romance, so let’s discuss what’s in store for Adam and Sally during the week of April 18-22.
Y&R fans know there’s major Newman family turmoil going on due to this whole Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) situation.
While Adam awaits more updates, Sally will ruminate on Adam’s true motives.
Sally knows Adam is a complicated man and will be eager to uncover more about him.
Sally won’t be coming at this from a place of judgment when she wonders whether Adam wants to protect Victoria or simply exploit her problems.
It’s probably a bit of both, but Adam indeed wants to take advantage of Victoria’s downfall and scoop up the Newman throne for himself.
Although Adam will initially be offended over what Sally’s implying, he’ll shift gears and consider the possibility that he’s an awful person.
Adam likes to talk about how he’s on a better path, but he’ll do some soul-searching in that moment and question if he’s really changed all that much.
However, Sally won’t think Adam’s a bad guy. She’ll admire Adam’s ability to be cunning along with his determination.
Besides, Sally will point out that she wouldn’t be falling in love with Adam if he were someone so sinister.
Sally will inadvertently confess the depth of her feelings and catch Adam off guard.
Of course, Sally will catch herself off guard as well since this wasn’t something she intended to reveal right now.
Even so, Sally will roll with it once she blurts it out.
It’ll put Adam on the spot and force him to mull over his own feelings for Sally.
Adam may not say it in the most romantic way possible, but it looks like he’ll indeed reciprocate the sentiment.
One way or another, Adam should acknowledge that he’s falling in love with Sally, too.
The bond between Sally and Adam will grow stronger, so their relationship will keep moving in the right direction.
