The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may quit Newman Media and choose Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) over her job. Will Sally swing her career in a new direction instead?
Adam will dump Sally during the week of July 18-22, but Sally ultimately won’t buy it – no matter how cruel Adam tries to get with her.
Despite Adam getting downright nasty to try and sell this breakup, Sally will see through the strategy and beg him to drop the pretense.
Adam will be emotionally affected by the situation, so there’s the potential for his resolve to crack.
Perhaps Adam will indeed admit he’s only doing this to save Sally’s job at Newman Media. If that’s the case, you can bet Sally’s response will be that it’s just not worth it.
Sally would choose Adam over Newman Media in a heartbeat, so she may insist on turning in her resignation.
It’s not like Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wants Sally around anyway, so she’d be a nightmare for Sally to work for.
Plus, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) turned down Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) Marchetti offer, so they’re still short a designer.
During the week of July 25-29, Y&R spoilers say Kyle will receive another round of bad news.
Maybe the backup designer Kyle and Summer have in mind won’t be available either.
There could be some situation where Marchetti is left in a bind. Doesn’t this seem like the prime opportunity for Sally to capitalize on?
Sally could easily score a job for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) as well since they’ll need lots of help to lead Marchetti into this new era.
Without Adam at Newman Media, it seems pointless to have Sally keep working there.
Throwing Sally back into the mix with Summer and Kyle would create a little drama considering the complicated history they all share.
This would also allow Sally and Adam to continue their romance, which both of them would be thrilled about.
Sally may relentlessly pursue this Marchetti designer gig next – and we all know Sally has a knack for getting what she wants if she tries hard enough!
