The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may get a hot homecoming surprise after her New York trip. Will Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) go all in with Sally to prove a point to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan)?
In the January 14 episode, Adam finally decides he’s had enough of Chelsea’s persistent attempts to reunite.
Adam doesn’t know how he can make it any plainer that they are never, ever getting back together! Adam even threatens to kick Chelsea out of Newman Media if she can’t let go of the past.
There’s a good chance Adam’s protesting a little too much here. Adam is likely running from his lingering feelings for Chelsea by taking this ice-cold approach, so there’s certainly still the potential for a “Chadam” reunion down the road.
In the meantime, Adam may stick to his guns on pushing Chelsea away. As part of that plan, Adam could decide he’s done fighting what he feels for Sally.
Perhaps Adam will feel like the quickest way to get Chelsea to move on is by moving on himself – and Sally will be more than willing to help Adam do that.
Even if Sally realizes she’s being used, Y&R fans know she’s not the type to care. Sally would just be happy over the progress and would consider it a huge win if Adam decided to have a real relationship with her.
Sally just might get her wish once she returns home from the New York trip Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) sent her on.
Since Adam is so fed up with Chelsea, he may pull out all the stops to romance Sally and make her feel like his new queen.
Sally is usually the one pulling stunts and setting up fun surprises. This could be Adam’s chance to turn the tables with his own romantic setup.
Adam may sweep Sally off her feet and land in bed with her soon after.
It could be Adam’s way of showing Chelsea that they’re truly on separate paths and need to stay in their new lanes.
Of course, Adam could be putting an even bigger target on Sally’s back if that happens, so Sally will have to be careful!
