The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) surprise pregnancy could change everything. The time is right for an Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) baby bombshell, so let’s talk about what this twist would mean for Y&R.
For starters, Sally made an interesting comment shortly before she made love to Adam for the first time.
In Sally’s toast with Adam at the office, she raised a glass to “two wrongs making something very right.”
Of course, Sally may have simply meant she’s a good match with Adam – that this relationship feels right.
Even so, there could be a deeper meaning if Sally ends up pregnant.
In that case, Sally’s comment might’ve been foreshadowing some baby-making.
Once Adam got past the shock of it all, he would eventually feel like two wrongs made something very right.
Naturally, that comment could also pave the way for yet another twist.
It’d be interesting if somewhere down the line, it was revealed that Sally intentionally got pregnant.
After all, Sally tracked her cycle and plotted to get Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) pregnant on The Bold and the Beautiful. She was that desperate to hang onto Wyatt.
Sally wants to lock in a future with Adam now, so a baby would help with that plan.
It would also level the playing field since Adam already coparents Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Speaking of Chelsea, can you imagine her reaction to Sally’s potential bun in the oven? That might be enough to drive Chelsea right off the deep end again.
However, a better option might be for Chelsea to bond with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) over missing out on a child opportunity.
Chelsea might reflect on what might’ve been and think about what it would’ve been like to have another baby with Adam.
Perhaps that could lead to Chelsea hooking up with Rey and having another baby with him instead!
Regardless, the show has a chance at some great drama if Sally gets pregnant with a little Newman family addition.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will push Adam to keep his romance with Sally a secret, but a pregnancy might make that impossible!
