The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) may blame Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) for Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death, so Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) might have to play peacemaker between his ex and sister.
Someone in Victoria’s fragile emotional state shouldn’t get behind the wheel, especially not on a foggy night.
Sharon may end up looking for someone to blame in the aftermath of Rey’s deadly crash – and that person could certainly be Victoria.
This is a horrible tragedy, but it perhaps could’ve been prevented if Victoria hadn’t gone out on the road with her emotions running wild.
Rey may bear some responsibility as well due to speeding home for forgotten hockey tickets, but Sharon surely won’t want to blame her deceased husband.
It’s Victoria who could face Sharon’s wrath since she’ll need a way to cope with all the pain she’s feeling.
Sometimes it’s easier to channel despair into rage, so Sharon may do just that and blow up at Victoria the first chance she gets.
Of course, this could leave Nick in a tight spot since he’ll want to be sensitive to Sharon’s situation while still protecting Victoria.
Even if Victoria gets in trouble for reckless driving, it’s not like she set out to kill Rey.
That’s something Nick may remind Sharon of if he’s forced to promote peace and settle Sharon down.
It could take some time before Sharon’s willing to let go of her anger toward Victoria, but Nick might help her reach that point.
Even so, Y&R spoilers say Sharon’s going to have a tough time as she fights her way through the grief that’s coming.
Rey’s fatal car accident will leave Sharon struggling to move on, but she’ll know that’s what her deceased husband would want.
