The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may reunite after a Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) romantic disaster. Will these exes ultimately be pulled together again by family and true love?
If there’s one person Nick can always count on in Genoa City, it’s Sharon. That’s why Nick is so willing to share all his secrets, even the dangerous ones.
Sharon can be trusted and knows Nick better than just about anyone in town.
Although Nick has developed a connection with Sally, she’s clearly on the rebound.
Sally and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) seem destined to get back together eventually.
It may take some time for Adam’s ego to make peace with Sally sleeping with his brother, but the love and connection between Adam and Sally is strong enough to overcome the obstacles.
Of course, Nick may find himself wondering what he was thinking by the end of all this.
Although Nick will hook up with Sally – perhaps even repeatedly – that doesn’t mean they’re right for each other.
No one in Nick’s family could ever be on board with his involvement with Sally, so there are going to be all kinds of complications once this secret leaks.
Nick will inevitably get on the bad side of so many people, so Sharon may once again prove to be his loyal, nonjudgmental confidant.
Every time Nick is in crisis mode, Sharon becomes a soft place to land and offers a sympathetic ear.
Nick was there for Sharon as well when she was coping with Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death, so there’s a nice give and take with these two.
After this whole Sally situation turns into a catastrophe, Nick may find himself craving familiarity and stability.
Likewise, Sharon may want to move on with someone who feels safe when she’s finally ready to put Rey behind her.
Nick and Sharon also have a solid family unit, so that’s always going to create a pull.
We won’t be surprised if Y&R starts inching toward a Sharon and Nick reunion in the months ahead, especially since the show’s 50th anniversary is coming up in 2023.
