The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that “Spider” may go wild with some Vegas women as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) revisits his past life to move on from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Y&R fans will recall how Adam was living as “Spider” in Las Vegas before his return to Genoa City.
Amnesiac Adam built a new life for himself as part of an underground gambling ring and no doubt indulged in some hot hookups along the way.
After Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) makes one last attempt to reunite with Adam and get their relationship back on track, Adam once again turns her down in the July 27 episode – leaving them both heartbroken.
Sally then announces that she’s resigning from Newman Media since she doesn’t want this CEO job if it’s the reason she lost her happiness with Adam.
Although Sally may end up changing her mind about the job, the thought of Adam’s sacrifice being for nothing clearly affects him – so much so that he books a flight to Las Vegas in that same July 27 episode.
Vegas is somewhere Adam can go and feel somewhat anonymous like in the days of his past life there.
Adam will surely do some gambling during his time in Sin City, but he might have a few flings as well.
It’s possible Adam could even let some scandalous photos leak – just to make it extra clear to Sally that they’re over and he’s moving on.
Regardless, Adam may try to fill the void he now feels in his heart with poker and random women that don’t mean anything to him.
It could serve as a way to numb Adam’s pain in the moment, but it obviously won’t work for very long.
Adam fell hard for Sally, so there’s no hookup who could compete with her. Sally has warned Adam that he’s making a mistake – one that he may realize too late.
It’ll be devastating if Adam indeed decides too late that he wants Sally back, but for now it seems he’ll be content to wallow in his own sadness and try to cope as “Spider” in Vegas.
