The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will attack Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) over her Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) romance. Summer will offer a fierce warning to protect her dad, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
Although Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will pull out all the stops to win Sally back, she’s been badly burned by her former flame.
It’ll be tough for Sally to open herself up to more pain – even if Adam is perhaps the man she truly wants deep down.
Nick offers Sally a more mature, stable alternative right now.
Sally and Nick also agreed to just live in the moment when it comes to their romance, so it’s low pressure and feels safe.
Of course, Sally is facing pressure from Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to stick with Nick and avoid signing up for another round of Adam heartache.
Sally will have to take all of this into account as she makes a choice about Adam during the week of October 17-21.
It looks like Sally may continue down this road with Nick instead, but there’ll be concerns from multiple characters about Sally being on the rebound.
Nick himself will be wary along with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), but we want to focus on Summer’s reaction.
Summer wasn’t on hand to witness Nick and Sally’s hot date at Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) nightclub, but she may have another chance to see their steamy connection soon.
Y&R spoilers say Summer will corner Sally to deliver a stern warning, so that’ll no doubt involve her dad.
Sally is one of the last people Summer would ever want Nick to date, but she’ll probably realize this isn’t her call to make.
That said, Summer will at least want to warn Sally about what’ll happen if Nick gets hurt.
There’s too much history for Summer to ignore, so she’ll make it clear that she’s protective of Nick and won’t stand for him getting jerked around.
Summer may urge Sally to pick a lane when it comes to the Newman brothers and stick to it.
We’ll see Summer jump at the chance to get in Sally’s face and push her to treat Nick right if she knows what’s good for her!
