The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Tara Locke’s (Elizabeth Leiner) freedom could threaten Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) family. Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) real mom could come back to steal Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and her son, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
Now that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is dead, Summer and Kyle may be thinking all the Locke drama is behind them.
Although Kyle and Summer’s hearts are breaking for Harrison, a little piece of them must be relieved that the Ashland nightmare is over.
Of course, we can’t forget about incarcerated Tara and the threat she still poses.
Tara will get out of prison one day – perhaps far sooner than Kyle and Summer expected.
Summer has adapted to motherhood beautifully and adores Harrison as if he were her own child.
As Harrison’s devoted stepmom, Summer is giving him plenty of love and has built a wonderful family with Kyle by her side.
Tara isn’t going to approve of Summer stealing her spot as Harrison’s mother, so she’ll surely want to steal it back down the road.
In fact, Tara may want to steal Kyle back as well – and she might actually have a shot at making that happen.
Soap characters tend to be more forgiving than they should be, so that’s important to keep in mind.
We should also remember that Tara is someone Kyle felt drawn to in the past.
Kyle was willing to risk the wrath of the “Locke-ness Monster” just to be with Tara, so there was clearly an intense level of attraction.
Now Kyle and Summer seem to be on the verge of marriage trouble due to their feuding mothers.
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) war could break up their children’s relationship if this keeps up.
It’d be smart for Y&R to bring Tara back – perhaps in the form of a recast – right as Kyle and Summer’s marriage is on the rocks.
They could play the love triangle along with the drama over Harrison, so there’d be some great places to go with the story.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland may be gone, but Tara could come back to haunt Kyle and Summer next!
