The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 14, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will drop the act in a wild outburst. Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will also make a plea for love, so here’s what Y&R has in store.
In Victoria’s office, Ashland will urge Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to tell his errand boy Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to meet him at The Grand Phoenix.
Ashland will want to go over terms and will act like Victoria’s family is leaving him without other options.
Once Ashland leaves, Victoria will demand answers and find out that Adam proposed a $500 million deal without approval.
That’ll leave Victoria furious, but Victor will point out that Ashland seemed interested in the offer.
Victoria will act like Ashland must be testing Victor and will blame her father for letting Adam go rogue like this.
After Victoria suggests Ashland has his own plan, she’ll head over to The Grand Phoenix to talk to him.
At Newman Media, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will assure Adam that if his plan doesn’t work, then he’ll come up with something else.
Sally will praise Adam for being brilliant and relentless before things take a passionate turn.
Victor will interrupt and put Adam on full blast for proposing a deal of that magnitude without his knowledge.
Adam will defend himself with Sally’s help, but Victor won’t want to hear excuses and will really let his son have it!
After Victor asks where the money will come from, Adam will contend that Victoria should be the one to pay.
Victor will find Adam’s lack of sympathy for his sister appalling and will argue that they don’t this kind of thing to family.
Once Victor rages some more, he’ll get confirmation that Adam understands. Adam will assure Victor that he was only trying to do what was best for the family.
As for the money, Adam will wonder how much it’s worth to Victor if they can get Ashland out of their lives.
Adam will think $500 million is a small price to pay for freedom and preventing whatever chaos Ashland might unleash.
In the end, Victor will send Adam to The Grand Phoenix and instruct him to make the deal.
Since Victor will be willing to offer the money himself, Adam will insist his dad won’t regret this. Victor will urge Adam to see to it that he doesn’t!
At Crimson Lights, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will tell Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about witnessing a tense interaction between Adam and Ashland.
Sharon will note that they wanted privacy and were talking like their lives depended on it.
After Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) arrives, she’ll fill Nick in on Adam’s rogue deal.
There’ll be concerns about how all this will go down, especially if Ashland has more time to charm his way back into Victoria’s heart.
Nick will eventually decide to go speak with Ashland himself, but Sharon will advise against it.
Sharon will think it’d better for Nick to sit this one out and just focus on sending Victoria love.
Once Victoria finds Ashland at The Grand Phoenix, they’ll head up to a suite for privacy.
Victoria will argue that Adam’s desperate move proves the setup and will encourage Ashland to fight.
Victoria will want Ashland to confirm that he isn’t caving to her family’s demands.
Ashland will refuse to do what’s necessary to bring Adam down and will argue that the answer to lies isn’t more lies.
“But it’s all been lies, hasn’t it? From the very beginning!” Victoria will shout.
Victoria will insist Ashland is 100-percent guilty and will call him out for lying about his cancer for months.
Victoria will think the least Ashland can do is give her the truth after conning her.
Ashland will reply that Victoria is right about one thing – that he’s a fighter.
Ashland will allude to changing what he’s fighting for and won’t buy this tough act Victoria’s putting on.
Victoria will fire back that her anger far outweighs whatever affection she might feel now.
Even so, Ashland will think they share something real and strong.
Ashland will claim that if the situation were reversed, he’d forgive Victoria since he loves her and can never stop.
Ashland will suggest he’d realize that no matter how simplistic their intentions in the beginning, their love became something entirely different.
Ashland will want Victoria to see that a love like theirs can’t be faked or forced.
Victoria will wonder what Ashland wants from her, so he’ll reply that he wants the same thing she wants: the truth.
After everything that’s transpired, Victoria will wonder if Ashland actually expects her to forgive him.
Although Ashland will know it sounds mad, he’ll point out that they can start over thanks to Adam’s offer.
Ashland will push for a new life – just the two of them. He’ll want to embrace this “crazy, perfect love” they’ve found together and will push Victoria to say she wants that, too.
