The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, April 21, tease that Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) heroic move will shock the Newmans while Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) sobs over losing Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). The accident aftermath will bring some stunned and heartbroken Genoa City residents, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
For starters, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will reel when they realize Ashland saved Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) life.
Once Victoria is rescued along with Ashland, the whole story will come out.
Since Victor doesn’t trust Victoria’s former husband, he may accuse Ashland of arranging all this.
However, Victoria should rush to Ashland’s defense and call attention to his burned hand since he saved her from a flaming car.
Victoria will point out that Ashland put his own life on the line to save hers, so Victor may grumble some words of gratitude in the end.
Even so, Victor won’t want Ashland thinking this erases all the pain he’s caused Victoria and the Newman family.
One good deed can’t undo Ashland’s mountain of damage, so Victor will still want Ashland to stick to the deal and leave town.
As for Victoria, she may find her heart softening toward Ashland now that he’s made such a dramatic display of love.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also get crash updates and may be the one to break some grim news to Sharon.
We know Nick will indeed drop a bomb on someone, so he may face the tough task of telling Sharon her husband didn’t make it.
Regardless, Sharon will soon learn that Rey died tragically in this car accident. It’ll leave Sharon sobbing over her lost husband as her world changes forever.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will face this sad shocker eventually, so Rey’s demise will create plenty of heartache.
In his hotel suite with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will react to Sally’s admission that she’s falling in love with him.
After Adam returns the sentiment, he should be brought in the loop on the latest crash drama.
Adam will be concerned for all parties involved and will want to do whatever he can to help.
