The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, April 7, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will stop Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) plan while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) fights to help Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will also confide in Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), so let’s discuss what’s coming up in Genoa City.
Adam feels like he needs to prove he’s worthy of remaining on the Newman throne.
In order to do that, Adam is working with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) on a secret plot.
If Adam can make a big enough impression while in the driver’s seat, he’ll hope it’ll cement his spot at the top.
However, Victor will soon find out Adam has a scheme in the works and will quickly shut it down.
Adam’s first effort will be thwarted, but he’s not going to give up.
During the week of April 11-15, Adam will stir up more trouble with risky missions and deals, so Victor will only cause a temporary setback.
As for Nick, he’ll remain on Team Victoria and will want to do everything in his power to help her.
Nick won’t want to see Adam’s role as CEO of Newman-Locke to become permanent.
Of course, Nick also won’t want Victoria to put herself in danger with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Nick may remain on edge over the possibility that Victoria will get hurt, especially if she lets Ashland dupe her again.
Fortunately, Victoria seems to know exactly who she’s dealing with at this point.
Victoria has convinced Ashland that she believes Adam might be to blame for framing him – and Ashland is obviously ready to run with that idea.
Victoria is setting a trap for Ashland, so she’ll hope she can work out all the details and truly push her manipulative husband out of the picture.
Other Y&R spoilers say Chance will come clean to Abby about how he’s feeling. The last time Chance checked in, he seemed to be doing much better.
Chance is now willing to accept the setbacks instead of denying them and is working hard to put his therapy to good use.
Now that Chance has gone back to work, he may want to let Abby know how that’s going.
Since Chance promised to ease back into things, he hopefully isn’t taking on anything too stressful – at least not yet!
That could change in the coming episodes and put Chance back in risky territory, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will remain proud of Chance’s progress, but she may also continue to worry about her husband’s well-being.
