The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, December 1, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will make an unsettling discovery as Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) puts out a fire. Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also grow closer, so let’s discuss what’s ahead on Y&R.
Despite Lily and Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) best efforts to get on the same page, their relationship seems to be headed for trouble.
The issues are big enough now that a conversation or two can’t fix the situation.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will remain a problem since she’s become the center of Billy’s universe these days.
Fortunately, Lily will have someone else to keep her company when she once again crosses paths with Daniel.
That’ll give Daniel and Lily a chance to do a little more reminiscing about their romantic history.
As Lily and Daniel reflect on old times, it’ll naturally bring them closer and could reignite some familiar sparks.
Next, Kyle will make an unsettling discovery when he spots Diane and Jack in a warm embrace.
It could leave Kyle worried about Diane stepping out of bounds and taking advantage of Jack’s compassion.
However, Diane will reassure Kyle that she’s just thankful for Jack’s willingness to stand up for her.
Of course, Diane will also have to come clean about her growing Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) concerns and the threat this poses to those closest to her.
Kyle will hear about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) retaliating against Diane for refusing to supply Jabot financial info, which meant putting Jeremy details in Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) hands.
Now Diane is worried about Ashley, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) contacting Jeremy – though Nikki did her best to warn Phyllis off the idea.
It turns out Phyllis will do whatever she wants anyway, so it sounds like she’ll be the one to summon Jeremy to GC and unleash his vengeful wrath.
In the meantime, Kyle won’t be happy about more of Diane’s secrets unraveling, but she’ll do her best to put out the fire and undo any further relationship damage.
Kyle will ultimately back Jack up and reassure Diane that they won’t let anything bad happen to her.
Diane will wind up relieved since both Jack and Kyle will be on her side.
Sadly, it’ll be out of Kyle and Jack’s control once Jeremy corners Diane alone at the Abbott house by the end of the week!
