The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, February 10 Recap – Chance Collapses During Stakeout Panic Attack

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 10, teases that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will have a stakeout panic attack – and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will share the story of how she became a con artist with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to on Thursday’s drama-filled show.

In her suite at The Grand Phoenix, Chelsea will struggle to sleep.

Chelsea will keep thinking about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) falling for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and will ultimately call to have her car brought around.

At home, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will head to bed while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) stays downstairs and looks up online tips to battle insomnia.

Billy will seem intrigued over the idea of processing, reflecting and meditating. He’ll give it a try by talking into the voice recorder on his phone.

Billy will note that he was a man who had everything, lost almost everything and then got most of it back – except the one thing he missed most.

After Billy remembers Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono), he’ll think about all his disasters and the times he was an idiot.

Billy will wonder if he’s learned anything from all his mistakes. He’ll try to figure out what he’s running from, what he’s hoping for or what’s eating away at him.

When Lily comes down and overhears part of Billy’s one-man therapy session, he’ll offer to let her listen to what he recorded.

Lily will act like that’s private, but Billy will insist there’s no part of his life that he wants to keep private from her.

After Billy plays the recording about something missing in his life, Lily will thank him for sharing that.

Billy will tell Lily he trusts her and that it was cathartic, but he’ll remain frustrated over his restlessness as she goes back upstairs.

Billy will speak into his phone voice recorder once more and wonder if he’s afraid of screwing up again.

Billy will think walking away from revenge is the right call and will encourage himself to level up his life.

At the Chancellor mansion, Chance will calm Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) down and stop her from jumping to the worst-case scenario regarding the baby.

Chance will feel like they just have to wait until they get more test results tomorrow.

After Chance sends Abby upstairs for a hot bath, he’ll call Rey with updates on Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).

Rey will mention that he’s doing surveillance on a suspect in a series of robberies, so Chance will want to keep him company.

Rey will wonder if Chance is sure, but Chance won’t think he’s going to get much sleep tonight anyway.

Chance will add that Abby is about to crash and the nanny is there for Dominic, so he’ll think it’d be good to have something else to focus on.

After Chance hangs up, he’ll stoop down to talk to Dominic in his play yard.

Chance will ask Dominic to be patient with him and will promise to be the best dad. He’ll think getting back to the force and finding purpose again is the answer to all this.

When Abby returns following her bath, she’ll find out Chance wants to go on a stakeout with Rey – though Chance will promise not to if she objects.

Abby will urge Chance to go, but she’ll seem uneasy as he heads out the door.

At Crimson Lights, Rey will grab some coffee to keep himself alert on his stakeout.

Chelsea will come in for some herbal tea and learn Rey is still on the job tonight. She’ll think Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) must get nervous with Rey out there fighting crime and putting his life on the line.

Rey will downplay the danger and act like Sharon has come to grips with the risks of his career.

Chelsea will reflect on going on stakeouts as a child when she ran cons with Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach).

Chelsea will admit it was all pretty normal at the time and that the reality of it didn’t hit her until later.

Rey will seem sympathetic over Chelsea having Anita’s untrusting world view imposed on her at such a young age.

Chelsea will admit she became a con artist because it was all she knew.

It wasn’t until Chelsea got pregnant with Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) that she realized she needed to be a better person.

Chelsea will acknowledge that she didn’t raise Johnny and has made mistakes, but she’ll assure Rey that she let the bad part of her life go – that she had to for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Rey will insist Chelsea has changed and will think she can be proud of the way she’s raising Connor.

Chelsea will be telling Rey some wild con artist tale about a rich heiress when Chance appears.

Chance will join them to hear the rest of the story and will listen as Chelsea praises Rey for believing she’s a changed woman.

After Rey’s phone dings, he’ll tell Chance they have to get to work.

Chelsea will be hopeful that the tea and conversation will help her get to sleep now, so she’ll return to her suite and don her pajamas.

Instead of trying to sleep in bed again, Chelsea will decide to take the sofa this time.

Chelsea will dream of Rey saying she’s the most complicated and fascinating woman he’s ever met.

This dream version of Rey will admit he can’t stop thinking about Chelsea and add that something from her dark past fascinates him.

After Rey gives Chelsea a passionate kiss, she’ll wake up startled and clutch her pillow.

In an alley somewhere, Rey and Chance will hide behind barrels.

After Rey explains that there have been five break-ins in this neighborhood over the past two weeks, he’ll add that they all happened while the victim slept.

Rey will think the perp knows how to disable the security system, but he hasn’t left any clues or prints behind.

Rey will add that it’s like the guy is taunting them now – daring the cops to catch him.

While Chance and Rey wait, they’ll talk about Chance’s concerns regarding Dominic.

Rey will reflect on how scared he was for Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) when she was in that car accident.

Rey will also remember seeing how confused and sad Connor was over his parents’ split.

Chance will think Chelsea must be grateful to Rey for being there for her son.

When the perp suddenly appears and starts disabling the security system, Rey will tell Chance he’s going to circle around to the east side of the house.

Rey will tell Chance to come at the guy from the other side.

After Rey dashes off, Chance will hear a loud noise nearby. Chance will clutch his chest and fall to the ground breathing heavily – like he’s having a panic attack.

Back at the Chancellor mansion, Abby will be sleeping on the sofa when Chance returns.

Chelsea wake up and wonder if everything’s all right, but Chance will claim he just felt like his place was there with Abby and Dominic.
