The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, February 24 Recap – Keemo’s Death Devastates Jack – Victoria Makes Ashland Co-CEO

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 24, reveals that Keemo Nguyen’s (last played by Philip Moon) death will devastate Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) while Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) makes Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) her co-CEO. Let’s discuss all the hot Y&R action ahead.

At Newman Media, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will push Victoria to smooth things over with Adam and won’t like the way Ashland antagonized his son.

Victor will make it clear that Victoria needs to make Adam feel welcome for the good of the company.

Afterward, Victor will speak with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) privately and admit that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) sent him an incriminating video.

Nikki will reel when she learns Ashland allegedly paid big bucks to have his medical info falsified and never had cancer.

However, Nikki will wonder how they can even trust this doctor.

Nicki will act like the guy might simply be a disgruntled employee looking for money, attention or both.

Victor will point out that Michael believed the testimony was credible, but he’s still investigating.

Nikki won’t want Victor alienating Victoria and stirring up marriage trouble over something that may not even be true.

Victor will urge Nikki not to worry since he’s handling this with extreme caution.

In their hotel suite, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will worry that she might’ve led Adam in the wrong direction.

Sally will ask if Adam said and did things he regrets, but Adam will insist Sally’s advice regarding Victor was spot-on.

Adam will decide he’s going to stay at Newman Media and go on the offensive.

Adam will want to set Victoria and Ashland up to fail – plus, he’ll want to spy on Ashland for his own sake, not Victor’s.

Next, Adam will fill Victor in on his change of heart and admit hubris was indeed a problem earlier.

Adam will apologize for how he handled the situation and will learn there’s no longer any need to spy.

Victor will admit that he has even more of a reason to believe he was right about Ashland.

Victor will need to know he can rely on Adam since “all hell is about to break loose.”

At the Chancellor mansion, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Dr. Allston will examine Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River) before reporting good news downstairs.

Dominic’s recovery will be going well, so Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will all be relieved.

After Amanda and Devon head to Crimson Lights, they’ll cross paths with Nate and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).

That’ll lead to Nate announcing that he’s leaving medicine and going into the business world thanks to Ashland’s persistence.

Back with Chance, he’ll call Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) over to deliver a list of therapist names.

Sharon will note that the first one is her top pick and will praise Chance for getting the help he needs.

Chance will call right away to set up an appointment, so Abby will give him a hug once he hangs up.

Abby will seem proud of Chance for taking such a big step forward.

In Victoria’s office, she’ll question Ashland about a heated phone call – though he’ll downplay it as nothing for her to worry about.

Ashland will act like he needs more respect and wants to make more of a contribution now that he’s getting stronger.

Victoria will realize Ashland is rethinking his role as an advisor.

Ashland will remind Victoria that this was their dream – working side by side as equals in the company that bears both their names.

Ashland will also want to send a message that he’s not some sickly old man.

Ashland will propose changing his title to Co-CEO, but he’ll insist there can be a provision in case he needs to step back or even step out entirely.

Victoria will worry this might worsen Ashland’s condition, so he’ll claim he knows he’s not magically cured.

Ashland will act like this is about living his life to the fullest and will suggest having a sense of purpose is helping his recovery.

Victoria will admit that Victor has been trying to get inside her head about staying on guard.

Victoria will note that Victor wants her to view Ashland as some kind of threat, but she’ll refuse to buy into that mentality.

Instead, Victoria will decide to go along with Ashland’s co-CEO request and become partners in every way.

Victoria will vow to have the contracts drawn up immediately, so Ashland will be thrilled over making it official.

At the Abbott mansion, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will show up to help Jack, who’ll admit he’s been searching Keemo’s last emails for clues.

Jack will almost be reluctant to hope Keemo might be reaching out through the texts, but he’ll want to know more.

Sadly, Phyllis and Jack’s online digging will lead to a crushing blow.

They’ll end up finding an obituary and Keemo’s photo on a memorial site, so Jack will look distraught as he exclaims that his son is dead.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will have to deal with his grief, but some happier surprises are waiting as he pursues this mystery.
