The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, February 3 Recap – Victor Sends Michael to Peru - Sally Accepts Adam’s Job Offer

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 3, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will accept Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) job offer while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) sends Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to Peru.

At the ranch on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will have a business meeting with Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).

When Victor learns Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) had an appointment related to his cancer recovery, he’ll express curiosity over the treatment.

Victoria won’t like all the questions and will make it clear that Ashland isn’t hiding anything.

Meanwhile, Ashland will meet with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) at Society.

They’ll discuss how Nate is flattered over the job offer at Newman-Locke, but he won’t be ready to leave medicine behind.

Ashland will also gush over how miraculous his treatment seems.

Nate will admit he had plenty of doubts about it, but he’ll be glad it’s worked out so well for Ashland.

Nearby, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will catch Michael looking fixated on Ashland and Nate’s conversation.

Michael will admit Victor has concerns about Ashland’s treatment and will mention questions about how the nonprofit clinic is being funded.

Lauren will get irritated over Victor putting Michael to work on this.

Lauren won’t think there’s enough evidence to be suspicious, but Michael will remind Lauren of how Victor’s mind works – how he’s always many moves ahead in the game.

After Michael parts ways with Lauren, he’ll corner Nate and subtly quiz him about Ashland’s treatment.

Nate will admit it almost seems too good to be true, but he won’t seem suspicious about Ashland’s results.

It’ll be Michael who grows increasingly suspicious after a phone call.

Michael will head over to the ranch soon after, so he’ll speculate with Victor that maybe Ashland’s friendship with Nate is about “decency by association.”

Michael will mention Nate’s “almost too good to be true” comment and how that stuck with him.

However, Michael won’t get what Ashland’s motive would be for lying about the treatment stopping the spread of his cancer.

Victor will insist something doesn’t smell right, so Michael will back that idea up with some big news.

After Michael brings up the phone call he received, he’ll note that a shell company has been providing the cash to finance the clinic’s operations. That shell company has a trail that leads to Ashland.

Victor will find it odd that Ashland would conceal funding the very clinic that saved his life.

When Victor suggests all the answers are at that clinic, Michael will realize Victor wants him to take the trip himself. He’ll rant about boundaries, but Victor will think he’s still honoring them.

“I promised I wouldn’t wake you up at two in the morning! It’s daytime!” Victor will declare as he gestures to the window.

Although Michael will know Lauren isn’t going to like him jetting off to Peru without warning, he’ll be intrigued by the mystery and will agree to go.

Next, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will help Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) pack up the penthouse and will insist that leaving it behind is the right call.

Chloe will be all about Chelsea’s fresh start away from Adam.

At Crimson Lights, Adam will cross paths with Sally and wonder how she’s doing since the fashion platform got the boot.

Sally will admit to freaking out about her future, but she’ll let Adam distract her with an offer to belly up to Society’s bar.

As for Chelsea and Chloe, they’ll join Lauren and make a pitch to keep the momentum of the fashion platform going at Fenmore’s.

While Adam is parking the car, Sally will walk over to the ladies and try to play nice.

Sally will thank Chloe for offering her another chance, even after her mistake while working for Lauren.

After Chelsea gives Sally a not-so-subtle hint to leave them alone, Lauren will suggest Sally will land on her feet somewhere…eventually.

Adam will appear and pipe up that there’s no need to worry about that since Sally’s coming to work for him at Newman Media.

Once Adam leads Sally over to the bar, she’ll think his timing was perfect.

Adam will have to step away for a phone call briefly, but he’ll let Sally know the offer is legit when he returns.

Although Adam won’t know what Sally’s job title will be, he’ll feel confident in her drive and will want her on his team.

Adam will reiterate that there’s a job for Sally if she wants it, so Sally will confirm that she does and touch Adam’s hands excitedly.

Back with Chelsea, she’ll look jealous as she glares at Sally and Adam across the room.

Chelsea will get distracted during her pitch with Chloe, but Lauren will still like what she hears. After Lauren urges Chloe and Chelsea to send her a business plan, she’ll take off.

That’ll leave Chelsea to complain about what she assumes is Adam’s fake job offer. Chelsea will be sick of all these games, so Chloe will warn her not to play.

Chloe will think Chelsea would be better off keeping her eye on the prize and not worrying about Sally.

On the way out, Sally will wish Chloe and Chelsea luck with Lauren since she’s such a stickler.

Adam will bring Sally her coat, so Sally will suggest they’d better get back to the office so they can discuss the details of her new job.

Chelsea will fume as Sally and Adam leave together, but she’ll repeat that idea about keeping her eye on the prize.

At Newman Media, Sally will thank Adam for giving her this chance before surprising him with a big hug. When Sally pulls away, she’ll share a rather intense moment of temptation with Adam.

In Victoria’s office, Ashland will come strolling in and talk about his numbers holding.

Ashland will be pleased over his cancer being in check, but Victoria will note that Victor was awfully inquisitive when it came to Ashland’s treatment and overall health.

Ashland will act like he’d never use this gift of life to undermine Victoria. He’ll spin it so Victor is the problem – like Victor doesn’t want them to be a formidable team.

Ashland will declare that Victor will have to contend with him being a full partner in business.

No matter what Victor is planning, Ashland will assure Victoria that he’s going to stand by her.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland’s web of lies is about to come crumbling down, so stay tuned!
