The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 13, tease that Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will enrage Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has a Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) meltdown. Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will also doubt Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), so let’s discuss what’s ahead in Genoa City.
For starters, Victoria will keep pushing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to see things her way. She’ll slam Adam’s business skills and act like Newman Media’s going to turn into a total trainwreck eventually.
Victoria will fight hard to secure ownership of the company for Newman-Locke, but Adam’s probably going to walk in on all her trash talk. When Adam finds out Victoria is trying to go behind his back and snatch up Newman Media, he’ll understandably be furious.
Adam will feel like Victoria is greedy and just can’t anyone else find success. He should be appalled over how Victoria’s treating her own brother, especially since he stepped up to save her wedding in Tuscany. Victoria is repaying Adam by targeting him in every way imaginable, so a heated confrontation is coming up.
On Thursday’s Y&R episode, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will help Victor deal with this Newman family feud, but their push for peace won’t do much good. In fact, Nikki will worry that things are only going to get worse from here!
As for Chelsea, she’ll find out Sally tried to turn a disadvantage into the upper hand. Sally accepts an assignment on Wednesday that’s meant to get her out of town, but she turns right around and invites Adam to go to New York with her. You can bet Chelsea won’t be pleased when that news spreads – presumably on Thursday.
Whether Adam accepts the invitation or not, Chelsea will fume over Sally’s continued interest in him. She’ll try to get under Sally’s skin, but Sally just might be the primary button-pusher this time around.
Chelsea will ultimately have an outburst and throw a glass once she’s back home alone. She’ll refuse to let Sally win, so it’s clear that this war is far from over.
Finally, Ashland will have a hard time believing that Billy has turned over a new leaf. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will stand by her man, but Ashland will have a feeling Billy’s going to cause more trouble than his girlfriend bargained for once again.
