The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, July 14 Recap – Adam Breaks Up with Sally – Victor Threatens to Kill Ashland

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, July 14, reveals that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will vow to break up with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) – and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will threaten to kill Ashland if he doesn’t stay in line.

At Newman Enterprises on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Ashland will claim he came back to Genoa City for some personal belongings, but Victor won’t buy that.

Nevertheless, Ashland will insist he knows there’s no coming back from this – that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) beat him at his own game.

After Ashland brings up the podcast exposing his cancer scam, he’ll assume Victoria was the source behind it.

Victoria will confirm that she was and will be glad the truth is out there now.

Once Ashland assures Victor and Victoria that he isn’t back for revenge, he’ll note that he simply wants a final visit with Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) to say goodbye.

Victor won’t see why he should let Harrison near a monster, but Ashland will point out that a man stripped of everything is the most dangerous.

Victoria will ask if that’s a threat, but Ashland will call it an observation.

All Ashland will be saying is that if you kick a dog enough times, it’ll bite back.

“If anyone in my family is bitten by your damn dog, I will kill you myself. Now get out of my sight,” Victor will warn angrily.

Before Ashland can leave, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will walk in.

After clashing with Nick briefly, Ashland will see that coming there was a mistake.

Nick will want answers after Ashland exits, but Victoria will want to discuss Sally instead.

That’ll lead to Nick admitting he ran into Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), who’s hoping to speak with Victoria directly and try to work something out regarding Sally’s job.

At Newman Media, Sally will have concerns about Adam’s vague solution, but he’ll urge her to trust him on this.

After Adam makes a speech about believing in Sally, she’ll want to show him how much she loves him.

Adam and Sally will make love in a suite at the Grand Phoenix before Sally drifts off to sleep.

That’ll give Adam a chance to sneak out and meet with Victoria, so Sally will wake up wondering where he went.

In Victoria’s office, Adam will maintain that Sally is right for the CEO job and that her positive transformation is genuine.

Victoria will think Sally’s primary loyalty is to Adam, but he’ll argue that she doesn’t have to worry about his influence on Sally.

“There is no Sally and Adam anymore. It’s not working out, so I’m breaking it off. It’s over,” Adam will insist.

On the Crimson Lights patio, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will love seeing Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) so excited about her internship.

Noah will want to celebrate over dinner, so Allie will wonder if he’s asking her out on a date.

They’ll get off track briefly as Allie quizzes Noah about the possibility of him leaving New Hope, so Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will overhear and look concerned.

Noah will bring the conversation back to their date, so Allie will confirm that she’d love to have dinner with him and will head home to change.

Once Noah is alone, Sharon will fish for info until he realizes she overheard about him leaving New Hope.

Although Noah will admit he hasn’t made a final decision, that’s the direction he’ll be leaning in.

Sharon will acknowledge that Nick’s going to be thrown by Noah’s choice, but she’ll note that he wouldn’t want Noah to stay out of obligation.

After Noah hints that something else is out there for him, he’ll assure Sharon that he still intends to stay in Genoa City.

At the Abbott house, Allie will be in a hurry ahead of her proper date with Noah.

Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will find out about Allie’s plans and will clearly think they’re adorable when Noah picks her up.

Afterward, Traci will head to the coffeehouse and learn Sharon is fretting over Noah’s career path.

Since Noah has an artist’s heart, Traci will think maybe he just needs to explore and will eventually find his way.

At Society, Allie and Noah will spot Victor and Nick at the bar.

Noah will introduce Allie to Victor, who’ll realize she’s Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) granddaughter and will joke about not holding it against her.

Nick will then mention the big news about Noah taking on more of a leadership role at New Hope.

When Nick says he wants Noah to handle some things ASAP, Noah will hesitate before agreeing to take care of them.

Once Noah sits down with Allie at a table, he’ll insist he wants to focus on celebrating her internship.

As for Nick, he’ll seem like he’s starting to notice Noah’s discomfort with the situation.

Nick will also talk to Victor about Ashland, so Victor will think their enemy is clearly out for revenge.

Victor will wonder how long Ashland’s going to stay in Genoa City and won’t think he should’ve come back in the first place.

Nick will feel like they should tell Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) so that they can be on alert.

Victor will agree and act like there’s no predicting what Ashland will do next.

In Ashland’s hotel suite, he’ll down a drink and look through the boxes of his belongings.

After Ashland finds the ring Victoria gave him, he’ll flash back to receiving it.

Ashland will break down in tears before throwing the ring box and smashing his glass.

From there, angry Ashland will have a full-blown meltdown that involves destroying nearly everything in sight.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland’s problems aren’t over yet, so stay tuned!
