The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, June 2, tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will make a manipulative move while Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) goes too far. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also take a stand, so there’ll be some tense moments happening all over town.
For starters, Diane will deliver an apology – presumably for causing issues between Jack and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Of course, Diane will be putting on a show for Jack’s benefit and trying to preserve her new-and-improved image.
In reality, Diane will love the fact that she’s managed to create problems in Phyllis and Jack’s latest reunion.
The hard part for Diane will be juggling her manipulative side with this softer side she wants to show Jack and especially Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
However, Y&R fans know Diane has a history of being a master manipulator, so she should be able to pull off her balancing act pretty well.
If Diane hears about Kyle’s restraining order against Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), she may feel the need to apologize over him, too.
Diane might be sorry for interacting with Ashland at all and hope this won’t damage any progress she’s made.
Since Diane has been careful to follow Kyle’s lead and back off when he pushes her to, their relationship should keep moving in the right direction.
The same can’t be said for Jack and Phyllis’ romance! After overhearing Phyllis gloat about marking her territory, Jack will feel like he has to take a stand.
There’ll be some clashing as Phyllis tries to backtrack, but Jack may think they need to pump the brakes since she went into this for the wrong reasons.
As for Imani, she’ll still have her eye on Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and will push Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) over the edge.
Elena will get bolder about defending her relationship, so that could mean she’ll offer Imani a fierce warning.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will also warn Imani to ease up on Nate, but Imani will think her sister is the one who needs to back off.
Imani might accuse Amanda of becoming more controlling lately and make it clear that she’s in charge of her own personal life.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Imani will continue to be quite the troublemaker in Genoa City, so stay tuned for more messes!
