The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, June 9, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will make an unexpected connection while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) enrages Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also take charge of the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) situation, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Y&R.
For starters, Victor will blow his top at Ashland and bark out some serious threats.
Ashland may stand his ground and insist that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) made her choice, but that choice isn’t going to work for her furious father!
Victor will rant about Ashland sucking Victoria back in and will make it clear that he won’t stand for this.
As far as Victor’s concerned, Ashland has declared war with this reunion – and that means Victor will be prepared to fight back in a big way.
Meanwhile, Victoria will clash with Billy over Ashland and her decision to run away with him.
Billy would approve if Victoria were just cutting Newman ties for herself, but Ashland is obviously a huge factor.
In the aftermath of this confrontation, Billy may complain to Lily and leave her concerned about his next move.
If Billy plans to retaliate against Ashland, Lily may remind him to stay out of Victoria’s business and avoid all this Newman drama.
Of course, Billy may insist on fighting back since his kids are involved, but Lily will be pushed to her breaking point.
We’ll see Lily lose her temper and really let Billy have it, so he’ll try to settle her down.
There’s also a chance Billy will get on his podcast and make matters worse.
Billy keeps crossing the line with this project of his, so there’s no guarantee Lily will let him keep his shows indefinitely.
Next, Chelsea will find an ally that’s rather surprising.
That could involve a new business opportunity since Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) seems to have her eye on Chelsea as Marchetti talent.
However, Chelsea is still grieving the loss of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), so there’s the potential for her to relate to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) since he’s also mourning his GCPD partner.
Chance and Chelsea could connect over their unique bonds with Rey, so that’s an option to consider here.
Whatever the case, Chelsea will cross paths with someone and make a new connection that she finds helpful.
