The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, March 24 Recap – Diane Tricks Allie to Accept Jack’s Invite – Nate’s COO Offer

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 24, reveals that “Taylor Jensen” aka Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will trick Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) into accepting Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) invite. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will also receive a COO offer, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

At the Abbott mansion, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack will debate his next move with Allie.

Jack will ultimately decide to reach out and mention that he’s going to be in LA in the next day or two.

That way, Allie has time to make up her mind about meeting him.

At the house in Los Angeles, Allie will admit to “Taylor” that she recently lost her father.

“Taylor” will be so sorry to hear that and will ask if Allie has any other family.

When Jack suddenly calls, Allie will answer and seem uneasy when he wants to meet up for coffee or dinner like they talked about.

Allie will hang up without making a firm commitment and will allude to family issues when she turns back to “Taylor.”

“Taylor” will insist she can relate and will talk about how she’s survived more than Allie can imagine.

She’ll mention that regret can be hard to live with once it’s too late to connect.

“Taylor” will add that family is the most important thing in the world and will wish she had more relatives to turn to.

She’ll apologize for rambling like they’re old friends, but Allie will appreciate the comforting words and fresh perspective.

“Taylor” will contend that losing a parent has to be one of the hardest blows that life has to offer.

She won’t think Allie should put off Jack and will say something about him being family.

That’ll leave Allie wondering why “Taylor” would make that assumption, but “Taylor” will remind Allie that she said her phone call involved family issues.

Allie will admit things are complicated with Jack, but she’ll appreciate the fresh perspective and will offer to show “Taylor” how the tricky shower knobs work.

“Taylor” will just want to respond to a text first, so she’ll text Jack about doing what she can to help and will add that Allie might be more receptive soon.

At Society, Jack will read the text while out to lunch with Phyllis.

Although Jack will be hopeful and won’t want to scare off the anonymous texter, the mystery of it all will drive Phyllis crazy back at The Grand Phoenix.

Phyllis will feel certain it’s a woman from the tone and will hint about using a special tracker to find out who’s responsible.

Nevertheless, Jack will reiterate that he doesn’t want to push too hard and scare away his source of help. Jack’s priority will be connecting with Allie.

Back with “Taylor” aka Diane, she’ll tell Allie that she’s not sure when she’s moving in.

“Taylor” will talk about having some family issues of her own to deal with, which will determine her next move.

“Taylor” will acknowledge that this house is a safety net and will think it’s important to have somewhere to land – just in case.

She’ll hope Allie figures things out and will remind her not to be afraid to reach out to people who care about her.

After Allie steps outside, she’ll call Jack and suggest she’d love to have coffee when he’s out in LA.

Jack and Allie will look forward to it while Diane smiles to herself inside the house.

At Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) penthouse, she’ll show Nate around since he’ll be interested in buying the place back.

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will arrive after hearing Nate’s voice outside and won’t have any objections to being neighbors again.

Nate will confirm that he’s looking for a clean slate, especially since the construction at his current house has brought so many problems.

Nate will also be interested in Devon and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) job offer, but he’ll wonder how it’d fit in the merger.

At home, Lily will show Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) podcast numbers and feedback.

Lily will want to talk about Billy’s next podcast since the first one did so well.

Billy will worry he doesn’t have anything more to say, but Lily will think he’s still got plenty more to share.

When Devon comes over with Nate, Lily will share her vision for the merger and go over some details.

Devon will think this sounds like a corporate match made in heaven and will want Nate to be his COO.

Although Nate won’t think he’s qualified, Devon will feel confident he’s got what it takes.

Lily and Billy will agree, so Nate will send Elena a text about a surprise or two.

After Elena shows up at the penthouse, she’ll learn it’s theirs if they want it.

Nate will sense that Elena has reservations and won’t want to make things awkward since Devon’s living just across the hall.

However, Elena will decide this is the right move, especially since Nate will think it’ll help him hit the reset button.

Once that’s settled, Nate will admit Elena’s going to be living with a newly minted COO.

As for Devon, he’ll return home and talk to Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) framed photo.

Devon will act like everything’s coming together for the family and will suspect Neil had a hand in it.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say the merger between Hamilton-Winters and Chancellor Industries could come with more drama than Devon and Lily bargained for!
