The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, November 3 Recap – Chelsea’s Mental Health Facility – Sharon & Billy’s Tricky Secret

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 3, teases that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will check in a new mental health facility while Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) keep a tricky secret.

Once Chelsea is admitted, Sharon will talk to her new therapist, who’ll confirm that Sharon and Billy can stay as long as Chelsea needs them to. The goal will be getting Chelsea settled in and comfortable, but she’ll end up panicking a bit as she realizes what’s happening.

Chelsea will insist she can’t be in a place like this again and will grow embarrassed about what people will think. However, Billy will assure Chelsea that no one else knows – and Sharon will add that they’ll keep everything confidential while Chelsea goes at her own pace.

Billy will urge Chelsea to see that things are going to be different this time. After Billy promises he isn’t going anywhere, he’ll suggest they should focus on getting Chelsea stable for Thanksgiving with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Once the therapist comes to ask some preliminary questions, Billy and Sharon will step out. Sharon will think this might be a good time for them to leave, so Billy will guess she’s right.

Sharon will also acknowledge that they need a strategy for handling this with Connor while still protecting Chelsea’s privacy. Billy will grumble about involving Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but Sharon will insist it’s necessary since he’s Connor’s father.

At Crimson Lights, Connor will ask about Chelsea on his day off from school. Adam will admit he hasn’t been able to get in touch with Chelsea, but Connor will be eager to tell her about his conversation with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind).

After talking it over, Connor will suggest they decided maybe the whole bio mom thing wasn’t that big of a deal. Since Connor will assume Chelsea is avoiding him, he’ll acknowledge that he said hurtful things and wishes he could make it up to her.

Adam will assure Connor that he has nothing to make up for and that he’s allowed to have feelings. Besides, Chelsea would never hold anything against Connor since her love runs deep.

At Chancellor-Winters, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will give Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) updates on Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) new job running Newman Media. Lily will realize Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was the CEO Nate partnered up with, but she’ll feel confident they neutralized any threat.

Devon and Lily will end up reflecting on memories of Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) before Billy appears. Although Devon won’t think it’s wise for Billy to leave the company at such a critical time, he’ll accept that it’s happening.

Once Billy’s alone with Lily, he’ll admit Chelsea had an emotional break and that he’s been working with Sharon to help her. Lily will act like Billy has done his part, but Billy will insist he promised he’d be there for Chelsea every step of the way.

That news will frustrate Lily, who’ll feel like Billy has to rescue every woman in his life. Lily will wonder how much time and energy Billy is going to dedicate to Chelsea now, but he won’t be able to answer that.

Back at Chelsea’s facility, her therapist will talk about how they concentrate on building personal relationships there. Chelsea is more than just her past and a medical chart; she’s a human being in the present.

After Chelsea is asked a few questions, she’ll open up about previously being hospitalized for hurting Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and acknowledge her guilt.

Chelsea won’t think she really wanted to die on the roof, but she did want the pain to stop. Although Chelsea will want to get better, she won’t be sure that’s possible.

At the coffeehouse, Billy will talk to Sharon, who’ll suggest they should take their cues from Chelsea and her facility. That said, Sharon will feel like Connor and Adam need to be told something soon.

Once Sharon suggests Billy could visit Chelsea again and check on her, he’ll head out. Adam will corner Sharon right after and demand to know exactly what she’s hiding with Billy.

At the office, Lily will text Billy to see if he wants to meet up for lunch. Billy will hear his phone chime, but he’ll focus on Chelsea by her bedside. As Chelsea takes Billy’s hand at her facility, she’ll thank him in a tender moment.

Other Y&R spoilers say Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will show up at Nate’s penthouse and admit she didn’t take the job in Baltimore. Elena will be open to trying to work things out, so Nate will fill her in on his sincere attempt to make amends with Devon – though he got shot down.

Nate will also confess he’s the new CEO of Newman Media, so Elena will assume it’s a consolation prize. From Elena’s perspective, it’ll seem like Victoria is now using Nate as justification for firing Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Elena will think Nate is getting a pat on the head for staying quiet about Victoria’s takeover involvement, but he’ll disagree. Nate won’t get what else he has to do to prove he’s the man Elena fell in love with.

At Society, Devon will text Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to call him as he sits at the bar. After Devon asks the bartender if Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is there, he’ll learn she hasn’t been in today.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Abby will have some other opportunities to bond soon, so stick with the CBS soap. CDL’s the place to be for exciting Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates, so make us your one-stop Y&R source.
