The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, October 13 Recap – Adam Tricks Sally with Rooftop Invite – Devon Fires Nate

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 13, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will trick Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) with a rooftop invite while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) fires Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) over the truth.

At Chancellor-Winters, Nate will come clean about meeting with the CEO of another company and revealing every detail of their IPO process.

Devon will assume this is about revenge and will wonder how much damage Nate has done.

Nate will insist this was never about inflicting damage, but Devon will fume as he realizes the CEO must’ve vowed to put Nate in charge.

Devon will also assume Nate was going to sell his shares to give that person a controlling interest as a tradeoff.

After Devon decides this is why Nate and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) are having problems, he’ll think the only reason Nate confessed is because Elena showed up.

Devon will demand to know if this mysterious CEO is Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), but Nate won’t want to reveal who he spoke with.

That’ll serve as confirmation for Devon, who’ll insist it goes without saying that Nate is fired.

Once Devon storms out, Nate will admit to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that the CEO he talked to has the financing together and could make a move once they have the date as well as the time.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will arrange to pump the brakes while Lily vows to call Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will rant about understanding what Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) must’ve seen in Nate now: the greed and the selfishness.

Nate will explain how he lost his joy when he couldn’t be a surgeon anymore, but he found a sense of purpose again as a COO.

Once Devon rejected every idea, Nate knew he’d never be a priority.

Billy didn’t think any of that justified Nate stabbing them all in the back.

Nate will act like this was the only way to prove himself, but Lily will argue that it was a choice and urge Nate to get out.

Afterward, Nate will catch Elena back at the penthouse before she leaves for Baltimore.

That’ll give Nate a chance to admit he told the truth minus Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) involvement.

Nate will insist that he confessed the whole takeover plan and will add that he did it for Elena.

Back with Audra, she’ll talk about taking the necessary steps to stop the IPO from moving forward.

Audra will ask if they should keep the framework in place in case this is just a delay.

Lily will plan to decide that with Devon later. Billy will also pipe up about how they have to find out who Nate was feeding info to.

At the Abbott mansion, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will talk to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) about Tucker being a master manipulator who hasn’t changed.

After Ashley hints about Tucker and Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) link, she’ll admit she doesn’t have proof yet.

At Jabot, Tucker will find Adam in his office and praise him for the decision to distance himself from all things Newman – especially Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Adam will think that’s rich considering Tucker hasn’t made much of an effort to show up for his own son.

However, Adam and Tucker’s conversation will stay friendly enough despite Adam’s willingness to call Tucker out.

Adam will think Tucker is wasting his time with Ashley, but Tucker will refuse to give up since there’s no barrier you won’t try to overcome when you love someone.

After Tucker’s speech about winning Ashley back, Adam will reflect on romantic Sally memories as he sits alone.

It’ll seem like the wheels are turning for Adam as he plots a bold move of his own.

When Sally runs into Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at the park, she’ll ask if they can spend some time together this weekend.

Nick will approve when Sally suggests they should enjoy lunch by the lake and find a place to go skinny dipping.

Later, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will be happy that Sally is focusing on Nick instead of his brother.

Although Sally will still seem bummed about losing Adam, she’ll be determined to focus on the positive things in life.

Back at Jabot, Tucker will ambush Ashley and push her to have dinner with him. A

shley will object, but Tucker will vow to leave her alone if she’ll just share a meal at Society with him and hear him out.

Ashley will cave in, but she’ll insist it’s only so Tucker will stop stalking her.

Tucker will assure Ashley that he’ll stick to the terms and steer clear of her if the dinner doesn’t go the way he wants.

After Tucker gets dressed in a suit, he’ll open the door of his suite to find Devon. Tucker will call this a nice surprise, but he’ll admit he’s in a bit of a rush.

Devon will urge Tucker to make time and will demand to know if he came back to Genoa City for Chancellor-Winters.

At Society on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Ashley will wait for Tucker at a table with a drink in one hand and her phone in the other.

At Newman Media, Chloe will reveal that a fancy invitation was delivered via courier.

Sally will open it and realize it’s inviting her to have dinner tonight on The Grand Phoenix rooftop. Since the invitation will be signed “N,” Sally will assume it’s from Nick.

Once Sally leaves, Nick will show up looking for her.

Chloe will explain that Sally already left for their little rendezvous, so Nick will be confused when he hears about the rooftop dinner invite.

After Sally makes it up to The Grand Phoenix roof, she’ll find a romantic setup waiting for her.

Moments later, Adam will appear looking dapper in a suit and will tell Sally that he’s glad she could make it.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will try to win Sally over with this romantic dinner for two, so stay tuned!
