The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 27, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be crushed over her CEO job loss while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) demands Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) boundaries.
First on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will admit he’s got some bad news.
Sally will learn that she’s being fired and replaced at Newman Media, so that’ll be a devastating blow.
Of course, Sally will also hate that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is getting the boot.
Perhaps Sally will think she should be the one to fill Chloe in, but it’ll be hard enough to wrap her own head around this shocker.
Nick will be sorry that he couldn’t change Victoria’s mind, but Sally should understand that he doesn’t have the final call.
Even so, Nick will be feeling down in the dumps when he talks to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) later.
Nikki will realize it’s hard to keep personal and professional matters separate sometimes, but she’ll think business has to come first.
Since Victoria would rather have Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) as Newman Media’s CEO, Nikki will push Nick to respect his sister’s decision.
Back with Sally, it looks like she’ll decide to drown her sorrows at Society.
That’s where Sally will cross paths with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who’ll prove Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was right by circling Sally like a vulture when she’s in pain.
Although Sally will try to rise above Phyllis’ button-pushing, it’ll be hard on such a horrible night.
Sally will really struggle to avoid getting down in the mud with Phyllis as tension erupts.
After Victoria finishes offering the Newman Media CEO job to Nate, she’ll turn her attention to Chelsea.
Victoria will feel the need to lay down the law and define some clearer boundaries when it comes to Chelsea’s relationship with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind).
Of course, Victoria already insisted she doesn’t want Chelsea around Johnny since she doesn’t intend to pressure him in any way.
It seems like Victoria’s stance is clear enough, but she’ll apparently get in Chelsea’s face about this anyway.
