The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, September 1, tease that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will suspect Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) keeps a promise to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will also warn Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so there’ll be some big things happening in Genoa City.
At Society, Diane will cross paths with Talia and recognize her as an investigative reporter from Los Angeles.
Since that’s where Diane was previously living, she’ll immediately grow suspicious – especially since Phyllis and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) have been acting so weird.
Diane will introduce herself to Talia, who’ll stick to the fake story of working on a piece about Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
After Diane points out she knew Ashland, she’ll offer up her thoughts on him – and Talia will be forced to play along.
However, Diane will definitely worry about Talia’s deeper agenda and whatever she might be cooking up with her enemies.
Nikki and Phyllis have managed to raise some red flags, so Diane won’t let her guard down.
Over with Phyllis, she’ll decide it’s time to repay a debt.
There’ll be some promise that Phyllis has yet to deliver on, but she’ll finally come through on a vow she previously made to Nick.
Other Y&R spoilers say Chloe will offer a warning to Adam, so that could involve Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) or both.
Perhaps Chloe will feel like Adam is messing with his exes and warn him to just leave them both alone.
Chloe knows how easy it is for Chelsea to get sucked back into Adam’s tangled web.
Sally is also still feeling wounded and vulnerable despite her tough exterior, so Chloe may take a protective stance for her sake, too.
Adam might assure Chloe that he’s not playing games, but Chloe has learned to never trust a word out of his mouth and will just want him to keep his distance.
That goes for Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and any other trouble Adam might want to drag him into as well!
Chloe may argue that her family is off-limits and warn that Adam shouldn’t try any stunts like that stolen laptop drama again.
Unfortunately, old habits die hard when it comes to Adam, so he’ll indeed have a few tricks up his sleeve soon.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe will definitely keep a close eye on Adam and the people she cares about, so stay tuned.
