The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, September 15, teases that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will throw Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) out and block his reunion efforts. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also make a kidnapping offer, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
At Society, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will toast to surviving another day.
They’ll both be having a rough time, but Nick will seem concerned over the way Nate talks about ambition.
Nick will remind Nate that ambition shouldn’t become malicious or predatory, so Nate will act like he’s right.
After Nate admits his latest Chancellor-Winters problems, he’ll have a feeling that things are going to turn around for him very soon.
Once Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) joins Nate alone later, she’ll find out he officially quit.
That part will relieve Elena, but she won’t like Nate’s offscreen plan to prove just how capable and forward-thinking he is.
Elena will warn Nate that this plan is horrible and would be a mistake.
Although Nate will defend it, Elena will insist it’d mean compromising his integrity and will affect more people than just Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
In Sally’s suite, she’ll gaze in the mirror and think back on memories of sleeping with Nick.
Once Adam shows up, Sally will question if he was following her. Adam will deny it and ask if he can come in for a nightcap, so Sally will allow it.
That’ll give Adam a chance to pour his heart out about how he misses Sally and blew it in every way possible.
Even so, Adam never stopped loving Sally and will want to earn her forgiveness.
After Adam asks if Sally is really ready to throw away what they had, she’ll insist his timing couldn’t be worse.
Adam will wonder what Sally means, so she’ll talk about missing her meeting because she was talking to him on the GCAC rooftop.
Sally will argue that Adam is like an addiction – that this is toxic instead of healthy. Once Sally calls Adam a huge liability, she’ll insist she has to clear her head and refocus.
Adam will ask if that’s what Sally was talking about with Nick in his office earlier, but she won’t want to get into that “business matter.”
Sally will think this should be goodbye for now, but Adam will push her to listen to her heart.
That’ll leave Sally almost transfixed in a powerful moment with Adam. After Nick texts Sally, she’ll snap out of her Adam trance.
Sally will think Adam is looking for answers and chances that she can’t give him.
Once Sally declares that she needs time and space, she’ll think it’s best if Adam goes. Adam will exit as Sally shuts the door looking emotional.
At the ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be on edge ahead of her flight to see Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) in California.
Now that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has gotten inside her head, Nikki will worry about this triggering negative memories.
After Nikki reflects on that terrible time in her life, she’ll admit Deacon was front and center.
Victor will suggest Nikki should just stay home, but she’ll be committed to trying to score Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) dirt from Deacon.
Both Nikki and Victor will agree that nothing can shake their relationship, so that’ll seem to ease her mind.
Victor will point out he could always have his team bring “that bastard” to Genoa City, so Nikki will wonder if he means kidnap Deacon.
Although Victor will shrug and call it a first-class round trip, Nikki will think she needs to be the one to go to Los Angeles.
Victor will assure Nikki about the security detail he’s sending, though she’ll hope they’ll be discreet to avoid scaring Deacon off.
After falling asleep reading to Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), Diane will slip downstairs at the Abbott house.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will get updates on the bedtime story blunder and offer Diane a drink, so she’ll take some tea to calm her nerves after a hectic day.
Diane won’t go into the details, but she’ll admit this is about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and wonder if it was a mistake to work at Marchetti.
Jack will think Diane should stay with her job and concentrate on bonding with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), so she’ll ultimately agree he’s right.
Diane will want to prove she’s up to the challenge – both for Kyle and for Jack.
Since they’re making progress on their friendship goal, Diane will take pride in that.
Jack will admit he truly admires Diane’s determination to prove she’s changed.
After Diane decides she’d better go, Jack will realize how late it is and offer to let her stay in one of the guestrooms.
Diane will decline the offer, but she’ll thank Jack for his hospitality before heading out.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane and Jack’s relationship could get messy as they get closer, so stay tuned!
