The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, April 12, teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will suspect Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) turns to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will also get a warning from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
Victor assured Victoria that he would keep Adam in line, but that’ll be easier said than done!
Adam will make a judgment call that Victor has a problem with, so that could bring an argument.
Although Adam will want his father to have faith in him, Victor will feel like his son is trying to prove himself – and now just isn’t the time.
Victor will suspect Adam’s got a side scheme going and may fear it’s going to interfere with Victoria’s main plot.
Nick also has concerns about the possibility of Adam going rogue for selfish gain, so he’ll lean on Sharon and get her take on things.
Sharon understands how things operate in the Newman family and has always had a special bond with Adam, so she’ll have a unique perspective.
Of course, Sharon knows Adam can be a bit of a wildcard, but she also knows he’s made big changes in his life.
Nick also recognized those changes recently and will cling to the hope that Adam will stay on the right path. That said, Nick won’t have high hopes!
Sharon will advise Nick, but Y&R spoilers also point to her taking a firm stance on something.
Will that involve weighing in on the Ashland takedown plan? Could that be about Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) hockey road trip instead?
Sharon will soon discover that Rey agreed to attend the Blackhawks game with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
That seems like something Rey should’ve run by Sharon before moving full-speed ahead, so some “Shey” conflict could be brewing.
Back with Victor, he’ll focus on an Ashland ruse for Victoria’s sake.
There’ll be more bait as part of the overall trap, but Nikki will be busy cornering Victoria and making herself crystal clear.
Nikki’s been worried about the danger Victoria’s putting herself in.
Nikki also knows this charade must be taking an emotional toll on Victoria, so she may point out that she can’t completely support this plot.
Nevertheless, Nikki has been dealing with Victor long enough to know sometimes you just have to be a good little Newman soldier.
There are times when loyalty has to trump everything else in the Newman family – especially when you’re trying to get rid of someone like the cruel “Locke-ness Monster.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will try to drive Ashland out of the picture with $500,000 by midweek, so that’ll bring some snags on Victoria’s end!
