The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 19, reveals that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will race home for some forgotten tickets while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) loses control on the road. Here’s how all Tuesday’s Y&R action will play out.
In Victoria’s office, she’ll insist she told Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) what he wanted to hear so that he’d sign everything away.
Victoria will refuse to go anywhere with Ashland and will think it’s his turn to feel betrayed.
Ashland will admit that although he didn’t expect Victoria to believe he was set up, he was hoping her heart would want to believe it was true.
Ashland will talk about trying to buy time and counting on love to win out in the end.
Although Ashland will still think they could have a second chance, Victoria will shut him down.
Even so, Ashland will argue that the money and freedom don’t matter. He’ll tell Victoria that all he wants is her.
Victoria will remain furious as she demands a full confession, so Ashland will admit that he lied about having cancer.
Ashland will explain that after he found out Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) wasn’t his biological son, he channeled all his rage into going after the Newmans and their company.
Victoria will be appalled over Ashland letting Harrison think he was dying, but Ashland will insist that he tried to keep Harrison out of it.
Ashland will acknowledge that was why he willingly let Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) take Harrison to Italy – allowing him to continue the scam back in Genoa City.
Ashland won’t deny that working this death angle was disgusting.
Ashland will admit to feeling proud of what he was pulling off at one point, but that was before he actually fell in love with Victoria.
Victoria won’t feel like Ashland even knows what real love means, but he’ll insist he’s never loved one someone as profoundly as Victoria.
Ashland won’t know what to do next if he doesn’t have Victoria by his side.
Victoria will be all out of sympathy and will claim she doesn’t care what happens to Ashland once he walks out that door.
Ashland won’t believe Victoria and will argue that deep down, she’s just as conflicted as he is.
After Ashland makes one last pitch to leave town and start over together, Victoria will insist she’s starting over on her own.
Ashland will accept Victoria’s decision and tell her that he’s sorry before walking out the door.
At Newman Media, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will share a drink as they talk about making a good team.
However, Victor will make it clear that there’s no place for sibling rivalry right now.
Adam will refrain from bashing Victoria too much and will suggest it’ll take some time for her to recover from all this.
As for the $500 million they paid, Adam will think it was a bargain considering they now have control over Ashland’s empire.
Later, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will stop by Newman Media, so they’ll get updates on Adam’s plan working and praise him for it.
Nikki will admit Victoria had to tell Ashland they could still be together to convince him to sign, so there’ll be concerns about Ashland’s reaction to getting duped.
Victor will point out that he’s having Ashland followed. “If that man makes one wrong step, I’m gonna get him!” Victor will declare.
After the security team sends a message, Victor will find out Ashland is leaving the building alone.
Victor will hope that Victoria is done with Ashland once and for all.
Back in Victoria’s office, she’ll rip her portrait down from the wall and smash it in a fit of rage. Victoria will then grab her coat and head for the exit.
Once Victor, Nikki, Adam and Nick arrive, they’ll see the damaged portrait.
Victor will bet that Victoria did this – and after a quick call to security, Nick will learn Victoria was spotted leaving the parking garage five minutes ago.
Although Nikki will want to call Victoria, Victor will suggest they should give their daughter some space.
Adam will leave to take care of some things while Nick plans to meet up with Nikki and Victor at Society soon.
Once Adam calls Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and lets her know that his plan worked, he’ll find a hotel suite all decked out for a romantic celebration.
Sally will leave a note telling Adam that she’ll be back soon, so he’ll toast to a new beginning in the meantime.
At Crimson Lights, Rey will thank Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) for being OK with his trip to Chicago with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Once Connor shows up with Chelsea, he’ll express his excitement over seeing the Blackhawks play in person – especially since Rey’s going to be there.
Rey will think it’s going to be a great night for all of them.
In a moment alone, Chelsea will thank Sharon for packing snacks and lending Rey to them for the evening.
Sharon will seem uncomfortable, but she’ll act like it’s fine and suggest it makes sense that they’re staying in Chicago overnight after the game.
Once Sharon mentions how foggy it can get this time of year, she’ll suggest she just wants Chelsea to bring Rey home safe and sound.
Chelsea will assure Sharon that they will, but she’ll pick up on Sharon’s weird vibe and wonder if she’s truly OK with everything that’s happening tonight.
Sharon will get that the history between the three of them is complicated, but she’ll think that’s all in the past.
Despite offering plenty of reassurance, Sharon will look uneasy as she watches Rey, Chelsea and Connor happily getting ready to leave.
After Sharon urges Rey to call or text once he’s in Chicago, Rey will vow to be safe.
Rey will kiss Sharon goodbye, but she’ll pull him back in for a longer and deeper one.
Rey will realize he left the hockey game tickets in his other jacket, so he’ll rush home to get them and insist he’ll hurry right back.
After another quick peck with Sharon, Rey will take off.
When Nick shows up later, he’ll admit that Adam’s plan worked – though he’ll suspect it’ll be hard to get his brother out of the CEO seat.
Nick will pick up on a strange vibe from a distracted Sharon, but she’ll insist it’s just been a long day.
In her car, Victoria will drive through the fog and wipe her tears.
Victoria will eventually call Nikki using the hands-free system on her car, so Nikki will answer the call while sitting across from Victor at Society.
Nikki will urge Victoria to pull over so they can come get her, but Victoria will have an emotional outburst about how she keeps making the same mistakes with men.
Suddenly, Victoria will scream and slam on her brakes as she loses control of her car.
Nikki will call Victoria’s name repeatedly, but there’ll be no answer. As other Y&R news rolls in, we’ll keep you posted.
