The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, April 26 Recap – Ashland Says Only Murder Will Free Newmans – Sharon Blames Chelsea

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 26, reveals that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will essentially say only his murder will free the Newmans – and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will blow up at Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) when she tries to offer sympathy.

At the cottage on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Sharon will insist she still wants to see Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) in the morgue.

Before Sharon can take off with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will show up to offer her condolences.

Sharon will claim she forgot something upstairs, but she’ll really just need a breather from the conversation.

After Sharon overhears that Victoria is blaming herself, she’ll come back down and insist she doesn’t want Victoria to feel guilty.

Sharon will acknowledge that what happened was an accident, but she’ll also seem anxious to end the conversation and get to the morgue.

At Society, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will encourage Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to ignore what his family thinks and reach out to Sharon in her time of need.

After Adam spots Ashland at the bar, he’ll confront him about their deal and argue that Ashland should’ve left town by now.

Adam will suspect that Ashland is faking his crash injuries and won’t take his word about Ashland rescuing Victoria.

Regardless, Adam will remind Ashland that nobody holds a grudge longer than Victoria and will think Ashland should do them all a favor by leaving Genoa city.

Later, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will find Adam in his office with Sally.

Adam will mention his run-in with Ashland and express concern about the possibility of him plotting something.

Once Adam admits he might pay Sharon a visit, Victor won’t think that’s a good idea.

Victor will contend that it might come across as opportunistic and will think Sharon’s other loved ones can support her.

At Crimson Lights, Chelsea will point out to Victoria that she got lucky – though she’ll quickly realize that probably came out wrong.

Victoria will note that Rey’s death must seem strange to Chelsea since she tried to end his life a year ago.

Chelsea will argue that she wasn’t in her right mind then. She’ll explain how Rey became a good friend and will mention the hockey game tickets that Rey went back for.

Victoria will soften once she hears the whole story and will be sorry for Chelsea’s loss.

Chelsea will feel it was a loss for all the lives Rey touched. She’ll call Rey one of the greatest men that she’s ever known.

After Victoria leaves, Sharon will stop by the coffeehouse with Nick.

That’ll give Chelsea a chance to offer her condolences and urge Sharon to take all the time she needs to mourn.

“I shouldn’t be mourning at all!” Sharon will snap – leaving both Chelsea and Nick looking unsettled.

In Victoria’s office, she’ll assure Victor that she knows Ashland is still in town.

Victoria will insist that she’s moving on, but Victor will seem worried that it won’t be that easy for her.

Nevertheless, Victoria will feel like she learned her lesson when it comes to trusting Ashland.

Victoria will be sorry for so many things, but Victor will tell her everything’s going to be all right and pull her close.

In Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) hotel suite, she’ll hope to make amends for the pain she caused by faking her death.

Nikki will rant about the chain reaction Diane caused – and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will wonder if Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) blackmailing Nikki was part of Diane’s plan.

Diane will insist she was a wreck and had no control over what was happening back in GC.

Nikki will disagree since Diane could’ve come forward and ended this nightmare.

After Jack and Phyllis leave, Nikki will stay behind to give Diane a warning.

Nikki will insist Diane is still the “same manipulative, conniving little bitch” she’s always been and won’t think this apology tour is going to work.

Nikki won’t want Diane anywhere near Victor, Victoria and especially Nick.

Nikki will add that Diane should probably stay away from Adam while she’s at it and won’t think Diane will ever find the redemption she’s looking for.

At the Abbott mansion, Kyle will catch up with Phyllis and Jack briefly.

They’ll talk about Rey’s death and how family is the most important thing before Phyllis takes off.

Kyle will get the feeling that Phyllis knows something he doesn’t, so he’ll push Jack to spill.

After they sit down, Jack will discuss the text mystery that led him to Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) and how it was really about Kyle.

After more buildup, Jack will admit that the person who reached out through those texts was Kyle’s mother.

Kyle will reel when he learns Diane is alive, back in GC and wants to see him.

At The Grand Phoenix, Ashland will have an awkward interaction with Phyllis about Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).

Ashland will still be down in the lobby when Nikki gets off the elevator.

Nikki will demand to know what Ashland is still doing there, but he’ll claim it’s because he loves Victoria.

Ashland will think Victoria gets to decide how she deals with him and will be tired of her family complaining.

“You’re not going to be able to get rid of me – short of murder – so I would suggest you get used to seeing my face around here,” Ashland will insist.

In response, Nikki will declare that they’ll see about that! As other Y&R news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you in the loop.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland may be a goner soon, so stay tuned for some deadly drama.
