The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 2, teases that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will find alarming proof while Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) mess gets messier.
Since Chance could use some help with the Ashland investigation, Y&R spoilers say he’ll turn to Kevin.
Of course, Kevin won’t see what the issue is since the case will seem pretty straightforward to him.
However, Chance will encourage Kevin to look a bit closer and see what he sees.
The more Chance learns about the night Ashland died, the more convinced he becomes that it’s all a little too neat and tidy.
Chance is right to question things since Victor indeed launched a cover-up, which involved putting Ashland’s corpse into his vehicle and dumping it in a ravine.
Now it’s supposed to look like Ashland killed himself, but Chance won’t be so sure that’s what happened.
The autopsy report may bring some clues that back Chance up eventually.
There’s also Ashland’s ring that Nick discovered and passed along to Chance.
It doesn’t seem like Chance has worked out exactly what it means yet, but there’s something about that stray ring that doesn’t sit right with him.
After Chance updates Kevin, they’ll team up and make a break in the case.
There’ll be some troubling new piece of evidence that pops up and raises the stakes for the Newmans.
Victor will continue to hide his trail as best as he can, but Chance is awfully determined.
At some point, Victor may need Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) to get a grip on her suspicious husband!
Over with Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), she’ll be tasked with lifting Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) spirits.
Noah was all set to give his nightclub a real shot, but he’ll apparently run into some problems.
Victor is dealing with this Ashland crisis, so will Noah still ask him about using Top of the Tower?
The timing obviously isn’t great to request a lease and major changes.
If Noah decides to go through with his pitch, Victor may not be supportive.
The space Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) suggested at The Grand Phoenix may not work out either, so Noah may worry this whole thing’s a bust.
Luckily, Allie believes in Noah and should give him the nudge he needs to keep at it.
This is Noah’s new career goal, so he can’t give up on something he’s so passionate about.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Noah’s career will hit a rough patch, but he’ll get it straightened out sooner or later.
