The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, December 13 Recap – Sharon & Chance Get Close – Elena Skips Victoria & Nate’s Trip

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 13, teases that Elena Dawson (Bryton James) will bail on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) trip. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will also grow closer, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

At Newman Media, Victoria will go over the details of their imminent Los Angeles trip with Nate. When Nate mentions Elena coming along, Victoria won’t seem thrilled about the idea.

However, Elena will text Nate that she’s stuck working, so it won’t end up mattering anyway.

Once Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) arrives and demands to speak with Nate alone, they’ll get into an argument about Nate needing to mind his own business.

It turns out that after Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon shut down Nate’s questions about Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), Nate called Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) to fish for information.

Nate will defend his desire to check in with Imani about Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) and will think it’s natural for him to be curious how things went south with Amanda so suddenly.

After Nate updates Devon on Amanda stopping by and rooting for them to make amends, he’ll remember that Chance showed up.

The next thing Nate knew, Amanda and Devon were done.

Nate will imply that Devon’s been acting “holier than thou” when he’s got his own mistakes to answer for.

Although Nate will call Devon out for his unwillingness to own up to what he did, Devon won’t think he owes him anything at all.

Nate will point out that Devon has no reason to show up there again since they’re not family or colleagues anymore.

Devon will urge Nate not to give him a reason to and will slam out with one last reminder to mind his own business.

At Society, Lily will be reluctant to open up to Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) about her current relationship issues since he’s her ex.

Daniel will promise to forget the conversation even happened afterward and will urge Lily to lean on him as a friend.

Once Lily caves in, she’ll talk about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) helping a woman going through a legitimately hard time.

Although Lily will have sympathy, she’ll feel Billy has made this woman the center of his universe – though she’ll clarify that she doesn’t think anything romantic is going on.

Daniel will realize Lily means Billy is falling back into old patterns, so she’ll confirm there’s an addictive component to all this.

It’s like Billy gets a high out of being the one to help.

Daniel will trust Lily’s gut over anyone else’s and will point out that she can’t change Billy. Only people who want to change can actually do it.

Lily will be grateful for the chance to open up and will hold out hope that she can work things out with Billy.

Daniel will just want Lily to be happy and will add that he hopes Billy is the one to help her find that happiness.

At Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) place, she’ll apologize for the non-consensual encounter in Myanmar that led to Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) conception.

Billy will be hesitant to let Chelsea dive into all this ancient history, but she’ll truly want to make amends.

Chelsea will acknowledge that she drugged Billy, who obviously couldn’t consent when he was high out of his mind.

It’ll break Chelsea’s heart to think Johnny will want to know how they met one day.

Chelsea’s heart will also break for Billy since she knows what she did was wrong.

Billy will point out that his son was created that night with someone he barely knew.

It’ll be tough for Billy to relive all this, but he’ll tell Chelsea that he wouldn’t change what happened since Johnny exists.

Billy will think the most important thing is that Johnny is happy, healthy and thriving.

Besides, Billy will know that Chelsea wouldn’t make the same decisions she made back then. As far as Billy’s concerned, Chelsea will be brave for taking responsibility.

Chelsea won’t ask for forgiveness since what she did was unforgivable, but she’ll be thankful for Billy’s kindness since it’s more than she deserves.

At Devon’s penthouse, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will bring Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) in from the cold park.

Abby will insist that Daddy Devon told them to make themselves at home while they get Dom warmed up.

In the meantime, Abby will flash back to cheating and will talk to Dominic about being good friends with Devon.

Now Abby won’t be sure what’s going to happen, but she’ll mention that their friendship really matters to her.

Abby will also let Dominic know she’s sorry that things are weird right now. Once Abby acknowledges that Chance moved out, she’ll hint about things getting better in the future.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon will bring Johnny and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) some hot chocolate as they enjoy some bonding time.

Soon after, Chance will open up to Sharon about the tension over this situation with Abby and will admit he’s most worried about Dominic.

Sharon will insist that Abby, Devon and Chance are all putting Dominic first. Plus, kids are resilient, so Sharon will act like it’s all going to work out.

Once Sharon suggests looking to Johnny and Connor as an example, Chance will get them to teach him how to play a video game.

When Chance looks back up at Sharon, they’ll exchange a sweet smile.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon and Chance will continue to connect, so stay tuned to see if this is a new path to love!
