The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 6, teases that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will make a stolen money confession while Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) cheating shocks Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
At The Glam Club, Adam will do some commiserating with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) since they’ll both be having a rough night.
After Adam admits he’s lost Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for good, Chance will confess that he’s divorcing Abby.
Adam will suspect something really bad must’ve gone down, so Chance will shock him with the news that Abby slept with someone else.
That was the tipping point that helped Chance realize things were done – and Adam won’t have any hope left for his romance with Sally either.
In Sally’s suite, she’ll urge Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to get all the facts before he walks away.
Sally will explain how she needed to see if there was anything left to salvage with Adam, but she ultimately realized there was nothing left.
Once Sally insists Adam understands that now, she’ll refuse to apologize for what happened since a huge weight has been lifted.
Sally will feel like she can fully move on from Adam now, but Nick will think talk of moving on is premature.
Nick will acknowledge that under his calm exterior is raging jealousy.
After Nick suggests it may take more time to get past this than Sally thinks, he’ll wonder what this means for the two of them.
Sally will want to date, especially now that she has this new sense of freedom. After Nick agrees to think things over, he’ll bid Sally goodnight on a tense note.
While Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is at a sleepover, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will surprise Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) when he shows up for a movie night.
Chelsea will seem a little off, so Billy will ask what’s wrong and get updates on Connor’s bullying situation.
After Billy calls Chelsea out for avoiding him lately, she’ll mention her conversation with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and insist she doesn’t want to be a burden.
However, Billy will assure Chelsea that she isn’t and will add that she’s saving him from a night alone tonight.
Once Chelsea and Billy laugh over the movie and munch on some popcorn, she’ll thank him for showing up uninvited since she needed cheering up.
Billy will admit he needed this too as he continues bonding with Chelsea.
When Lily and Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) cross paths at Society, they’ll decide to grab a table instead of picking up takeout.
Daniel will sidestep questions about Heather Stevens (Jennifer Landon) and admit he still doesn’t see how Lily’s relationship with Billy makes sense.
Lily will defend her romance before laughing with Daniel about their own past together. Daniel and Lily will seem to be growing closer as they share a toast.
At the Abbott house, Diane will freak over a text from Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), which will insist it was a big mistake getting the Abbotts to fight her battle.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will once again promise to protect Diane, but she’ll know Jeremy wants payback.
It turns out Diane had some of Jeremy’s money that was ready for transport when he got arrested, so she kept it.
Diane will defend her decision since she couldn’t risk more scrutiny that might expose her fake identity as Taylor Jensen.
Since Diane used that money to rebuild her life, she’ll admit she can’t give it back to Jeremy.
Jack will think there’s a simple answer here and will push Diane to let him repay the money instead.
Diane will shut that idea down, so Jack will suggest she could consider it a loan.
Nevertheless, Diane won’t want to rely on wealthy men anymore – not to mention Jeremy would still want to punish her, even if she repaid him.
After Diane thinks back on skipping her chance to enter witness protection, she’ll point out that it would’ve closed the door on reconnecting with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) forever. That’s not something Diane was willing to do.
The downside is now Diane will have to figure out how to protect herself from a dangerous criminal.
Jack will reiterate that he’ll work with Kyle to keep Diane safe, so she’ll express her gratitude.
After Diane embraces Jack again, she’ll suggest she should go. Jack will think it’d be safer for Diane to stay in one of the guest rooms tonight, but she’ll protest since Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) wouldn’t approve.
Even so, Jack will insist he’ll handle Ashley and anyone else. This is Jack’s home, so he’ll make it clear that he wants Diane there.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack and Ashley’s feud is only going to get worse, so stay tuned to Y&R!
