The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, February 1, tease that Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) greedy agenda will present a problem while Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) makes a bold move. Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will also fear the worst when it comes to Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) new job, so let’s talk about the Y&R shockers ahead.
For starters, Ashland’s motives will be questioned.
It’s easy to see that Ashland is making some subtle power plays and slowly trying to move in on Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) territory.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) have already expressed some concerns about Ashland’s desire for power, but they’ll gain another reason to worry.
Tuesday’s episode will bring some stunning news that leaves Nikki and Victor on edge.
That could be related to Michael’s mission since he’ll work to find out everything there is to know about Ashland.
Michael will focus on digging up secrets no matter the cost, so this is building to some major revelations.
It looks like Ashland was never as sick as he claimed to be, so Victor and Nikki might get their first solid hint about that.
Regardless, Lauren will quiz Michael about working for Victor again and the trouble that could bring.
Lauren will pump Michael for info on what his actual assignment is and worry this could end in disaster – particularly for their marriage.
As for Chelsea, she’ll make a bold move designed to strike at Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Sally will face a bombshell she doesn’t appreciate, so this could involve a bigger effort to push her out of Newman Fashion.
Now that Newman Media will fall under the Newman-Locke umbrella, Chelsea may think it’s the perfect opportunity for some staff changes.
We won’t be surprised if Chelsea tells Victoria that Sally will only distract Adam and should be fired!
Whatever the case, Chelsea will leave Sally fuming with her upcoming move – and that means another heated confrontation is on the way.
