The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, February 1 Recap – Ashland’s Peru Clinic Not Legit – Victoria Dumps Fashion Platform

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 1, reveals that there’ll be signs that Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) Peru clinic isn’t legit – and Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will dump the fashion platform completely. Here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to on Tuesday’s exciting show.

In Victoria’s office, she’ll assure Ashland that they have nothing to worry about.

Victoria will feel confident that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) would rather eat glass than come to work for her!

Meanwhile, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will fish to find out which way Adam is leaning.

Adam will admit he’s made up his mind, but he’ll only tell Sally that she’s going to hear his verdict very soon.

At Society, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will believe Adam will keep their fashion platform going strong if he stays on as Newman Media’s CEO.

Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) won’t like leaving their fate in Adam’s hands, so Chelsea will decide they should just go straight to the top.

Back with Adam, he’ll stop by Victoria’s office to let her know he’s decided to stay with Newman Media.

The news will catch Victoria off guard, but she’ll pretend to play nice.

Victoria will also make it clear that Adam will have to prove he deserves the same level of autonomy.

Afterward, Chelsea and Chloe will arrive to make a pitch regarding the fashion platform.

Although Victoria will feel a certain connection to Sally because of her wedding dress, she’ll announce that she’s abandoning the platform altogether.

Chloe and Chelsea will protest, but Victoria won’t be interested in the hassle of it all. She’ll wish Chelsea and Chloe the best, but she’ll have other plans for Newman Media.

Next, Chloe will try to sell Chelsea on the idea of continuing the platform under a different name.

Chelsea won’t be sure they can gather enough financing – plus, the platform could still be Victoria’s intellectual property.

Chloe will argue that they could always start from scratch, so Chelsea will be open to that idea.

That said, Chelsea will want a true fresh start with no involvement from Sally.

Chloe will fight for Sally to stay on board since she’s been an asset, but Chelsea will disagree.

Chelsea will think Sally is baggage and won’t feel like they can trust her the way they trust each other.

At The Grand Phoenix, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will fill Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) in on Ashland’s job offer.

They’ll talk about how Nate isn’t as passionate now that he’s in a more administrative role at the hospital.

Elena will blame herself, but Nate won’t think she should have any regrets.

Nate will think he deserved the punch from Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that injured his hand and will love where his life with Elena’s at now.

At Crimson Lights, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will mention her newfound interest in business to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

Faith will be looking at University of Michigan because of their business program and will think she might want to go into the fashion or beauty industry.

Nick will worry Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) might’ve influenced his granddaughter, but Faith will swear that Grandpa didn’t say anything.

Even so, both Faith and Nick will feel like Victor would approve of her following in his footsteps.

Next, Nick will overhear Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) discussing how he’s working for Victor again.

Nick will wish Michael luck before Lauren admits she’s not sure she’s liking this new gig.

Lauren will seem on edge over how “cloak and dagger” everything seems, but Michael won’t be able to divulge much.

Michael will also face several phone interruptions – including a call that catches him off guard.

After Adam finds Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) at Society, he’ll give them updates on his decision to stay with Newman Media.

Victoria and Ashland will come along later to share a toast as everyone tries to stay civil.

At one point, Ashland will pull Victor aside to mention some changes regarding Newman Media.

Victor will suggest Victoria should be present, but Ashland will feel certain Victoria would want him to take point since communications is his specialty.

Nevertheless, Victor will insist on discussing this later. After Victor wraps up his toast to “all things Newman,” Adam will leave along with Victoria and Ashland.

Nick will cross paths with the gang as he comes inside the restaurant, so he’ll offer Victor a warning.

Once Nick comments on how man Newman family members are working together, he’ll insist Victor should be careful what he wishes for.

Nick will think there are a lot of cooks in the kitchen – and most of them think they’re the head chef! He’ll wonder if Victor really thinks that’s sustainable.

After Nick takes off, Victor and Nikki will discuss the new power dynamic between Victoria and Ashland.

Victor will contend that Ashland is managing his illness, so now he wants to exert more power and leverage.

Victor will vow to watch Ashland’s every step before meeting with Michael privately back at the ranch.

Michael will admit there are questions about the legitimacy of Ashland’s treatment and the legitimacy of the Peruvian clinic where it originated.

Victor will note that he always had his doubts about that nonsense and will want Michael to dig deeper.

At Newman-Locke again, Ashland will tell Victoria he wants to take a more active role.

Victoria will think it makes sense for Ashland to have more control over divisions he knows better, so Ashland will be glad she sees things his way.

Finally, Chelsea will approach Sally with Chloe at the coffeehouse. Sally will be stunned to learn Victoria killed the fashion platform.

Sally will scramble to think of ways to save it, but Chelsea and Chloe will insist it’s time to move on.

Sally will argue that Chloe and Chelsea shouldn’t pretend they aren’t conspiring to start something without her.

Sally will fume over Chloe going along with Chelsea’s plan to throw her overboard, but Chelsea will fire back that they don’t owe Sally anything.

Sally will snap that the fashion platform is going to be a “big fail” without her. She’ll remind Chelsea and Chloe that she’s the reason it took off in the first place.

Sally will also call Chelsea a “has-been” and will think Chloe is a fool for following her around.

“So good luck with Chelsea 22.0 or whatever number you’re at now because you are going to need it!” Sally will declare.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will find a new path forward soon, so stay tuned to Y&R!
