The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, February 8, tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will wonder if he’s made a big mistake while Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) seek a diagnosis for Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware).
First on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Jack will be feeling rather lost. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) desperately wanted Jack to tell her to stay and push for a future together, but Jack never did.
However, Jack isn’t a mind reader! He knows Phyllis awfully well, but it’s complicated since her head and heart are telling her two different things.
Phyllis wants to reunite with Jack deep down, but she can’t stop getting in her own way.
That’s why Phyllis kept her feelings bottled up and headed for Milan – leaving Jack to sulk alone now that she’s gone.
Jack will find himself facing a big turning point in his life.
Whether it happens now or later, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will offer some good advice and help Jack down the right path.
Jack may eventually realize it was a mistake to let Phyllis catch that flight.
It could lead to Jack catching a flight of his own soon, especially if he decides he just can’t live a life without Phyllis by his side.
Of course, Phyllis is just on a fact-finding mission, but her trip to Milan could lead to a permanent job there – that is if Jack doesn’t intervene.
The stage seems to be set for a grand gesture at some point, though it looks like that might happen a bit further down the line.
Until then, Jack will contemplate where things stand and work on figuring out his future.
Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) may end up playing a role in Jack’s romantic crisis.
It turns out Amanda and Lauren will do some meddling, so they might pump Jack for info and try to nudge him in Phyllis’ direction.
Next, Abby and Chance will fret over Dominic, who’s suffering from breathing issues and recently looked rather pale.
Dominic has been overly tired and just isn’t acting like himself, so Abby will call the doctor and make sure a proper examination is done.
Once Devon is brought in the loop on Dom’s health woes, he’ll struggle with fears as well.
There’ll be some stunning news as the doctor tries to nail down a diagnosis for Dominic and find a way to help him.
This is setting up some blood tests and a Dominic paternity shocker, but we’ll mostly just see everyone coming together to worry for the time being.
