The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 25, tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Hunter King) will wait for an answer while Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) finds himself under attack. Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will also retaliate, so let’s discuss what’s coming up on Tuesday’s shocking show.
Y&R fans know Summer recently called Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) with an enticing offer.
As luck would have it, Phyllis has been worried about having too much free time on her hands lately.
Phyllis tends to get into trouble when her mind wanders, so it’d be good for Phyllis to have something to keep her sharp and creative.
Of course, that’s exactly what Summer is offering Phyllis since there’s some amazing Marchetti position up for grabs.
Summer may have a follow-up phone conversation to discuss the possibility of Phyllis joining the team.
Summer might push Phyllis to make the move to Italy and strengthen their mother-daughter bond again.
As tempting as that sounds, Phyllis has the hotel to worry about. She might also fret over cramping Summer’s style and running from her problems.
Phyllis perhaps needs to live her own life instead of piggybacking on Summer’s, so that could be something she takes into account.
At the same time, Phyllis is awfully lonely now that she’s no longer a couple with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is out of town.
Phyllis may feel rather lost without Jack’s guidance on this, but he’ll be back before the week’s over and could potentially weigh in.
Until then, Summer will await Phyllis’ answer in Milan. She just wants what’s best for her mom, so she’ll count on Phyllis to make the choice that’s right for her.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will spell out exactly what he wants Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to do.
Michael will learn how he should go about investigating Ashland – particularly when it comes to his health status.
It won’t be long until Michael sits down for a little chat with Ashland at Society.
Ashland will quickly catch on and determine that he’s being scrutinized, so he’ll subtly let Michael know that he knows!
It looks like Ashland will sense the possibility of Victor’s attack and react accordingly.
As for Victoria, she’ll retaliate in some way – though it may not have anything to do with this Ashland situation.
Instead, Victoria may remain fixated on acquiring Newman Media and making a vengeful move against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Victoria may fill Victor in on her plan to sue for the Newman Media name. She’ll also focus on her mysterious step two soon, so Victoria will definitely be working multiple angles and playing the corporate game she knows so well.
However, it could be Adam who gets the last laugh down the road, especially after Ashland’s terrible secrets come to light.
