The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 12, teases that Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) misery will worsen while Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) faces a loyalty test. Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will also grow closer, so let’s discuss what’s ahead.
First, Noah will keep up his efforts to flirt with Allie and pull her in a romantic direction.
It’s obvious where things are headed for these two, so it’s just a matter of how fast they’ll get there!
Allie is definitely into Noah and will find herself getting charmed by him once again on Tuesday’s show.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) supports the idea of a Noah and Allie pairing since it’d give her an extra reason to stay in town, so he’ll keep rooting for them.
Of course, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is clearly rooting for herself when it comes to Jack’s own love life.
Despite Diane’s hope that she can one day reignite her spark with Jack, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has no intention of letting her rival win.
Y&R fans can expect Phyllis to settle on a new strategy to blow up Diane’s world.
Phyllis’ dream come true would be to turn Jack and the rest of the Abbotts against Diane so that she’d leave Genoa City completely.
That’s what Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) would like to see happen as well, so she’ll become a strong ally for Phyllis sooner or later.
In the meantime, Nikki will have a warning to pass along – one for Summer, who’s stuck in the middle of all the Diane drama due to her marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Although Kyle wants to let Diane back in his life and strengthen their bond again, Nikki clearly thinks that’s a terrible idea.
Maybe Nikki will warn Summer about the risks to her marriage and family – just to be sure her granddaughter knows what kind of threat she’s dealing with here.
Nikki may scare Summer somewhat with talk about Diane’s manipulation and past damage.
It could test Summer’s loyalty to Kyle, but she should stay strong and keep supporting him for the time being.
Naturally, we should also mention Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan to use Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) as a pawn.
Victor wants to bust Ashland trying to sneak a visit with Harrison and get him locked up due to the restraining order.
Nikki might receive word on that and think Summer deserves a heads-up.
Whether Victor’s plan comes together or not, it’s something Summer and Kyle need to be aware of.
Ashland will face another crushing blow due to the backlash following Billy’s scathing podcast.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Ashland will soon land in the slammer – perhaps due to this restraining order trap that Victor has in the works.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland will keep sinking lower and lower during the week of July 11-15, so his rage against the Newmans will grow stronger.
