The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, July 26 Recap – Sally Slaps Adam Before Kiss – Chance Leads Search for Ashland

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 26, teases that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will slap Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) before planting a kiss. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will also lead the search for Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will seem suspicious over how Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) might’ve intervened.

At Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) house, Nick will note that there’s no sign of Ashland anywhere.

Victoria will guess they were wrong about Ashland not having a pulse and will think he must’ve walked away.

When Victor arrives on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Victoria will question what he’s doing there.

Victor will insist he’s there to protect Victoria and will mention that his security detail was stationed outside the house tonight.

Nick will ask if they saw Ashland and if he’s alive, but Chance’s arrival will stop their conversation.

Victoria will recap how Ashland grabbed her after showing up unannounced and will think it’s a good thing Nick arrived or else Ashland would’ve killed her.

Nick will explain how things escalated and got physical in his faceoff with Ashland.

After Nick admits to socking Ashland in the jaw, he’ll reveal that they couldn’t find a pulse after he hit his head.

Nick will add that he went outside to get some air, so Victoria followed to check on him.

Victor will think it’s obvious that Nick acted in self-defense and was trying to protect his sister from a monster.

Based off everyone’s interpretations, Chance will agree with Victor on that.

When Chance asks where Ashland is now, Nick and Victoria will admit they have no idea since he vanished while they were gone.

Chance will check out the blood splatter and assume Ashland concussed himself after hitting that hard.

The detective will suggest Ashland was a tough guy for making it out of the house at all in that state.

After Chance says he got in the car and left right after Victoria called him, he’ll ask if she’d say that was about 15 minutes after all this.

Victor will then ask what Chance is suggesting, but Chance will contend that he’s just trying to understand precisely what happened.

Nick will point out that couldn’t have gone far in that condition.

Victor will also suggest sending a squad car to patrol near the Abbott house instead of alarming Summer and Kyle unnecessarily.

Chance will doubt Ashland makes it that far and will think the hospital is the first place he’s going if he’s smart.

After Chance asks if Victoria would like to press charges, she’ll confirm that she wants Ashland arrested so that nothing like this ever happens again.

Chance will ask if there’s anything they might’ve forgotten or left out, but Victoria and Nick will act like that’s the whole story.

After Chance vows to find Ashland and leaves, Nick will ask Victor to tell them what really happened there tonight.

On the GCAC rooftop, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will run into Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) on their date night.

After Kyle steps away with Allie, she’ll admit she’s “team undecided” when it comes to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and will feel lucky to be part of the Abbott clan.

Once Allie and Kyle rejoin Summer and Noah, they’ll talk about Noah’s plan to transform the Top of the Tower into a nightclub.

Summer will worry that Victor won’t go for the idea, so she’ll suggest a space on the top floor of The Grand Phoenix if it doesn’t work out.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will sense that Adam is mulling over something and will offer coffee while he contemplates.

Adam will mention that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is away at camp, so he moved off the ranch and now has a suite at the Grand Phoenix.

Sharon will guess that the recent personnel changes at Newman Enterprises had something to do with that.

Adam will talk about leaving Newman Media and cutting ties with Victor, so Sharon will support his decision – though she’ll seem skeptical about him sticking to it.

Sharon will also mention seeing some positive glimpses of Adam in recent months and wonder if Sally’s influence played a role.

Adam will then admit his breakup with Sally and try to avoid getting into the details of why.

However, Sharon will want to be there for Adam and will push him to be honest with her.

Adam will finally suggest that maybe he wanted to let Sally spread her wings and fly.

On the patio, Sally will eavesdrop on Adam and Sharon as they talk.

Once Sally overhears Adam admitting what she suspected, she’ll confront him. Sally will rant about Adam setting her free when all she wants is to be with him.

After Sharon makes herself scarce, Sally won’t know whether to be furious or wrap arms around Adam and tell him that she loves him, too.

Adam will act like Sally misunderstood and will claim he lied to Sharon because he cares about her opinion.

Adam will also suggest that following him around is making Sally seem pathetic and desperate.

Sally will slap Adam across the face before pulling him into a passionate kiss.

After Sally argues that Adam feels the same way about her, she’ll insist what they have is so much more than her job.

Sally will pull Adam into another kiss before he pulls away and urges her to stop making a fool of herself.

After Adam reiterates that they’re done, he’ll urge Sally to move on.

Once Adam leaves, Sally will ask Sharon if she’s fooling herself and will question if she really knows Adam like she thought she did.

Sharon will seem to believe Adam’s giving Sally a chance to prove herself without being tainted by their relationship.

Sally will argue that it should be her call, but Sharon will admit it’s a Newman trait to protect people who haven’t asked for your protection.

If that’s what Adam is doing, Sally will think they can get past it.

The problem is Sally won’t know how to get Adam to stop being so noble and just go back to loving her again.

Sally will note that she’s told Adam over and over that her job isn’t as important to her as he is.

Sharon will think Sally will just have to find a way to prove that to him.

Over with Adam again, he’ll unpack his bag at The Grand Phoenix and seem distraught as he thinks back to Sally’s kiss earlier.
