The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 1, reveals that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will threaten to kill Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) while Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) secret panics Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
First on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Ashland will get confirmation over the phone that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) was the American snooping in Peru.
Ashland will want to know everything Michael’s doing and will demand that the Peruvian doctor be found, too.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will receive a text from Michael, who’ll explain that he spoke with a second doctor and is sending evidence.
Soon after, Victor will meet with Nick and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to discuss a serious issue that affects the family empire.
Nick won’t be interested when he realizes this involves another Ashland investigation.
Nick will point out that dirt-digging damaged his relationship with Victoria before, so he won’t want to make things worse.
However, Victor will admit he never trusted Ashland and has learned his most repulsive secrets yet.
Victor will fill Adam and Nick in on the shady clinic situation before insisting Ashland was never sick at all.
Victor will point out that a second doctor has corroborated the first one Michael found.
Adam will wonder if Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was part of the scam, but Victor won’t think he was involved.
Now that Victor has enough evidence, he’ll be ready to deal with Ashland.
Victor will insist this was a long con with a very bad endgame and will talk about Ashland wanting to control two huge business empires.
Nick will be more concerned about Victoria’s love being taken advantage of – all for Ashland’s own greed and financial gain.
“I’m gonna kill him,” Nick will declare.
Victor will understand Nick’s anger, but he’ll know they’ll have to tread carefully since this news will devastate Victoria.
Adam won’t see how they can do this without upsetting his sister, but Victor will plan to handle Ashland his way.
At Newman Enterprises, Victoria will be surprised by how fast business affairs drew up the co-CEO contract for Ashland.
Victoria will seem uneasy when she learns Ashland put a rush on it, but Ashland will act like he’s learned not to waste time.
Nevertheless, Ashland will give Victoria a chance to back out of the agreement if she’s having second thoughts.
Victoria will insist she’s on board since Ashland’s remission changes everything and will plan to sign off, but Nikki will walk in and overhear the co-CEO plan.
That’ll leave Nikki struggling to hide her panic over such a big step.
Nikki will end up convincing Victoria that Victor at least needs to know what she’s doing.
As Ashland plasters on a smile, he’ll act like he wants the blessing of all the Newmans.
In a moment alone with her daughter, Nikki will make it clear that she’ll give Victor a heads-up if Victoria doesn’t do it first.
Back with Ashland, he’ll frantically text his contact for updates on the search for Michael and the doctor.
One of the clinic docs will ultimately call Ashland, who’ll insist he hasn’t given permission to look at his medical records – nor will he.
At the Abbott mansion, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will join Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Jack will plan to tell the rest of the Abbott family later, but he’ll want to let Billy know what’s going on now.
Billy will reel over the mystery texts as well as the news that Keemo Nguyen (Philip Moon) is dead.
He’ll hate that Jack felt the need to keep his estrangement from Keemo bottled up for so many years.
Jack will explain why he needs to take this trip to Los Angeles, but he’ll shut down Billy and Traci’s attempt to come with him.
Jack will only agree to let Phyllis tag along since this mission could reignite Traci and Billy’s grief over losing their own children.
Billy will worry about Phyllis’ involvement in all this, but Traci will decide she’s glad Phyllis is going with Jack.
That way, Jack won’t have to worry about his siblings’ feelings and can just focus on the task at hand.
Traci will corner Phyllis to convey all that and will urge her to protect Jack’s big heart while solving this mystery.
Over with Billy again, he’ll push Jack to be careful and make sure Phyllis has his best interests at heart.
Jack will insist he trusts Phyllis implicitly and will know she has his back.
Later, Traci will hand over some food for the trip. As Jack prepares to catch his flight with Phyllis, he’ll promise to be careful.
Jack will suggest that if he can’t get closure, he’s at least going to find out more about the man his son became.
