The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 23, reveals that “Taylor Jenson” aka Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will demand to meet Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) sobs over the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) truth.
At Crimson Lights, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will pick up a box of pastries and praise Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for his successful first podcast.
They’ll eventually head back to the Abbott mansion so that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) can fill Billy in on some big news.
Meanwhile, Jack will admit to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that he reached out to Keemo Nguyen’s (Philip Moon) sister, Mai.
Mai had nothing to do with the texts and was just as confused as Jack was.
As Jack and Phyllis continue to ponder the mystery, Billy will arrive with Traci and express curiosity over who Allie is.
After Billy learns the latest granddaughter drama, he’ll think it’s a mistake not to reach out to Allie when she could use support.
Phyllis will back Billy up, but Jack will worry about pushing too hard.
Jack will be torn over what to do, but he’ll suggest that maybe he’ll have the opportunity to thank the mystery texter for their help one day.
In Los Angeles, Allie will talk to Tanya (Julia Montgomery) the real estate agent about the abrupt sale of the house.
It’ll leave Allie feeling a little sad about letting it go, but Tanya will marvel over the simple cash offer and how the buyer’s only condition is meeting Allie.
In a moment alone, Allie will talk to her dad and suggest she doesn’t really have a home without him anymore.
After Allie suddenly decides she’d rather remember the house the way it was before, she’ll want to take off in a hurry.
Tanya will remind Allie that the buyer insists on meeting Allie in person – and she’s already there.
Soon after, a woman will introduce herself as Taylor Jenson and declare that she’s so happy to meet Allie.
Of course, we know from other Y&R spoilers that “Taylor” is in fact a back-from-the-dead Diane Jenkins!
Meanwhile, Ashland will approach Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) at Society and hope that maybe they can still be friends once everything’s cleared up.
Nate will make it clear that they were never really friends at all and will let Ashland know he already took his findings to the Newmans.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will lash out at Ashland briefly, but he’ll head on his way.
That’ll leave Elena to reassure Nate that he couldn’t have known Ashland would tell such a terrible lie.
Elena will reflect on how she was duped as well and will join Nate in worrying about Victoria.
Elena will ask if it’s crazy to think Ashland might’ve developed genuine feelings despite the scheme, but Nate will doubt that Ashland did.
Nate will insist anyone who’d deceive Victoria like that is incapable of love.
In Victoria’s office, she’ll resist the intervention that’s happening.
Victoria will insist this is a coordinated attack on her marriage and will warn that she can’t be controlled like a child.
Victoria will be willing to ban her family members from her life if need be, but Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) won’t think she’s being fair to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
When Adam insists they all want to handle this privately and discreetly, Victoria will wonder if they’re threatening to go public with the accusations.
Victoria will think this is about Victor regaining control of the company, but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will ask if Victoria honestly thinks their dad would put her through all this over business.
However, Victoria will argue that makes more sense than asking her to believe Ashland never loved her.
Victoria will rant about them acting like she’s a dimwit and will feel like this conversation is so disrespectful.
Nikki will pipe up about how she has no reason to want Ashland gone.
Nikki will remind Victoria that she genuinely supported the marriage, but she’ll feel like the evidence against Ashland has become overwhelming.
Victor will eventually give Victoria the info they got from Nate about the cancer-free scans. Nick will add that there’s no record of chemotherapy either.
That’ll leave Victoria laughing despite her rage. She’ll argue that she took Ashland to the hospital herself and saw him sick in the aftermath.
The Newmans will push Victoria to realize there was a reason Ashland never wanted Victoria to go inside with him.
Victoria will cling to hope anyway and act like there has to be some mistake – like a hospital hacking or some other manipulation.
Nick will wonder if Victoria really thinks that sounds remotely plausible, but she’ll insist on getting answers of her own.
Victoria will add that she’s leaving for Tuscany with Ashland immediately and will run the company without any of them.
When Victoria tries to leave, Adam will block her path.
Adam will contend that he went through a similar situation when Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) set him up for Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) poisoning.
Victoria will object to Adam comparing Ashland to a con artist like Chelsea, but Adam will insist Ashland’s going to slip up and the truth’s going to hit Victoria – just like the truth hit Adam.
When Ashland comes in, Nikki and the others will push Victoria to confront him.
Victoria will explain Nate’s new evidence and point out that she told her family it was a mistake.
Victoria will ask Ashland if it was, but he’ll contend that his answers don’t matter at this point.
Ashland will argue that he can’t keep fighting endlessly – and he won’t think Victoria can turn her back on her family either.
Ashland will claim he loves Victoria with all his heart, but he won’t believe this is going to work and will be done trying.
After Ashland walks out, Victoria will realize all the accusations were true. She’ll break down sobbing in Nikki’s arms as she lets her mom comfort her.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will have to plot his next move soon, so don’t miss what’s ahead!
