The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 10, tease that Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will cry alone after an Abbott welcome. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will also confront Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) now that she’s back in town, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
For starters, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will proudly introduce Allie as his granddaughter and Keemo Nguyen’s (Philip Moon) daughter.
Allie will have a chance to meet the Abbott clan and get to know everyone with Jack’s help.
Although Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was suspicious of Allie and her motives when she first heard about her, she’ll hopefully offer a real chance.
Jack feels confident Ashley is going to like Allie once they have an opportunity to really talk.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) can also relate to Allie since he’s always felt like a bit of an outsider in his own family.
Allie is a kindred spirit in a way, so Billy should enjoy meeting her.
Of course, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will also meet Allie.
Jack will hope to make Allie feel comfortable and build on their own bond.
There should be kindness all around – especially from Traci, who’s so thrilled for Jack and this shot at hanging onto a little piece of Keemo.
However, Allie will break down in tears once she finally has a moment alone.
Since Allie is still grieving, it may be hard to meet the relatives Keemo left behind.
Allie will no doubt wish her dad was there to reconnect with the Abbotts and be part of this family with her.
It sounds like Allie could use some extra support right now, so maybe Jack and the other Abbotts will step up to help.
Other Y&R spoilers say Nick and Sharon will have a Diane run-in, so that’ll bring some tense moments.
Nick has an especially complicated history with Diane, so he’ll rehash it with Sharon backing him up.
Diane heard about Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death, so she may extend her condolences to Sharon and use that as an olive branch.
Even so, Diane will realize adjusting to life back in Genoa City isn’t getting any easier so far!
Over with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll become like a different person in Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) eyes.
The power-hungry corporate side of Nate won’t be something Elena likes very much.
Elena is used to Nate being calm and compassionate, but she’ll sense that he’s getting more cutthroat and competitive.
The change in Nate could become a bigger issue for this couple as time goes on.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate and Elena could be headed toward other lovers down the road, so stay tuned.
