The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 3, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will outwit Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) fight. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also threaten Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), so let’s talk about what’s next on Y&R.
In Diane’s hotel suite, she’ll have a prickly reunion with Victor. Diane may object to Victor sneaking in her room, but she did far worse by faking her death and causing so much drama for the Newman family.
Victor will back Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) up since she already warned Diane to keep her distance.
It looks like Victor will also declare the Newman clan off-limits and warn there’ll be a steep price to pay if Diane doesn’t stay in her lane.
Over with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), they’ll discuss their next move.
After careful consideration, Adam may decide Sally had the right idea and determine that he has to stay one step ahead of Victoria.
However, it’ll be a little late for that since Victoria will already have a big decision lined up.
Victoria will be ready to reclaim the throne at Newman-Locke – and she’ll promote Nikki to be her co-CEO instead of her conniving brother.
Adam’s going to blow his top when he finds out about this. Sally will also think it’s unfair, but Victor will feel like Nikki’s going to do a great job.
Although Victor won’t like the feud between Adam and Victoria, he’ll have to side with Victoria and Nikki on this.
We’ll also see some conflict between Lily and Billy, so that’s probably going to mean going another round over Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Lily will think Billy needs to butt out or risk consequences, but Billy will insist on reaching out to Victoria and trying to help.
Billy will meet with Victoria at Crimson Lights during the week of May 2-6.
Billy will console Victoria over what she’s been through, but he’ll also launch an interrogation about whether she’s standing by Ashland.
Lily would much rather let the Newman deal with Ashland themselves and focus on the merger, which is going to create even more friction for all the couples involved.
After an emotional confrontation with Diane, Kyle will land at Society’s bar to down a drink and do some contemplating.
Kyle will wind up reconnecting with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) there, but he may or may not want to unload his family troubles.
Mariah and Kyle may talk about Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death as well as how it’s affecting Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle).
Since Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) really wants the May 13 wedding to move forward, Mariah will hope Kyle can come to the ceremony.
Kyle always likes to take credit for pushing Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) together in their early romantic days.
Kyle may gloat about that again and promise to be part of the celebration.
