The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, November 1, tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will expose Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) lie while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) connects the Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) dots.
At Society, Victoria will celebrate Nate’s decision to join the team as Newman Media’s CEO. Devon will witness Victoria’s toast and overhear about Nate’s new position, so he’ll be in disbelief.
Y&R spoilers say the puzzle pieces will come together quickly for Devon, who’ll realize Nate and Victoria have an alliance.
Devon may assume this job is some sort of consolation prize – though he may warn Victoria to think twice about hiring a backstabber like his cousin!
Regardless, Devon should figure out that Victoria is the mysterious CEO that Nate’s been protecting.
Now that Nate is getting a new job, Devon may think that’s why he was unwilling to rat Victoria out.
What’ll hurt the most is Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) knowledge of all this.
Devon considers Victor a friend and thought there was a certain level of respect between them.
The fact that Victor approved this takeover plan will really pour salt in Devon’s wound.
Nate’s decision to embrace this role in enemy territory is only going to make matters worse.
As for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she’ll want to get a few things straight with someone.
That could involve business or perhaps the situation with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who’ll refuse to leave Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) side after her terrifying ordeal on the roof.
There’s a chance Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will warn Lily about Billy’s bond with Chelsea and plant more concerns in her mind.
Nevertheless, Lily will act like she trusts Billy – even if her fears are growing deep down.
Trust issues will also be a factor in Abby and Chance’s upcoming fight.
Chance will claim he has to work late on a stakeout, so Abby will seethe when she spots him on the Crimson Lights patio instead.
Of course, Chance will argue that he simply got done early, but Abby will lash out over him not coming straight home.
Since Chance knew Abby was disappointed over their Halloween plans falling through, this will really leave her fuming.
Abby will accuse Chance of lying to her and will launch another argument about work being his priority.
Chance may insist this is a massive overreaction when he just wanted a cup of coffee, but Abby will view it as another way to avoid family responsibilities.
