The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 1, teases that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will help Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) from beyond the grave since he’ll be the reason for Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) breakthrough. Let’s talk about what’s ahead on Tuesday’s exciting Y&R episode.
At Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) nightclub, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will admit he saw Chelsea on the roof with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Adam will insist Chelsea seemed upset and will assume Billy must’ve done something to make that happen.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will get updates and defend Billy before shutting down Adam’s attempt to pry info out of her. Since Lily won’t know anything and wouldn’t tell Adam even if she did, she’ll urge him to head on his way.
In Chelsea’s hotel suite, Billy will offer to take her for a drive or get her some food. Chelsea will just want to be left alone and will blast Billy for not giving her the one thing she wants.
Billy will confess that he doesn’t know what to do, but he’ll know he can’t leave Chelsea alone right now. When Adam shows up outside the door, Billy will assure Chelsea that she doesn’t have to talk to him or anyone else.
Adam will eventually leave, so Chelsea will open up about the voices in her head and how she can’t forgive herself for her mistakes. Billy will assure Chelsea that she has so much to live for and will try to convince her that she can get through this.
Chelsea will admit she’s tired, so Billy will suggest she should get some rest. After Billy tucks Chelsea in bed, he’ll step inside the bathroom to make a couple phone calls.
At Crimson Lights, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will find Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and wonder what he’s doing there. Chance will reveal that his stakeout ended early, so Abby will lash out over him visiting the coffeehouse instead of coming home.
Since Abby will feel like Chance is avoiding her, she’ll want to work through their issues. Chance will think they should do it right there on the patio, so Abby will sit down for a tense, emotional conversation.
Abby will confess to being disappointed when Chance has to go out and play super cop, but he’ll feel like she resents his job. In fact, Chance will acknowledge there’s resentment on both sides since Abby can’t accept the reality of a detective’s life.
After Abby decides she wants to be alone, Chance will seem frustrated as she dashes out. Sharon will bring Chance a dessert before she steps away and takes Billy’s phone call.
Billy will reveal that there’s been an incident with Chelsea, so Sharon will agree to keep this between them and rush right over. Adam will show up asking about Chelsea and Billy, but Sharon will insist she’s in a hurry and leave without spilling anything.
As for Billy, he’ll call an annoyed Lily since he ditched her at the club. Lily will mention her run-in with Adam and worry something’s going on with Chelsea, who wanted more than Billy’s friendship not too long ago.
Billy will assure Lily that it’s not what she thinks. Although Billy won’t go into details, he’ll admit there was an incident and suggest he’s trying to get Chelsea some help.
Once Sharon arrives at Chelsea’s suite, Billy will step outside and admit he found Chelsea on the roof ready to jump. Sharon will be aghast, but she’ll praise Billy for doing the right thing and will insist they have to get Chelsea into a facility that can monitor her.
Sharon will want to arrange that in the morning, but Billy will think it’ll be an uphill battle to convince Chelsea. Once Chelsea wakes up and summons Billy, he’ll bring Sharon in and hope Chelsea understands why he called her.
Although Chelsea will shut Sharon down initially, Sharon will urge her to trust Rey on this. Rey would want Chelsea to take this step, which is why he gave her another chance. Sharon will urge Chelsea not to throw that chance away, so Chelsea will agree to accept help.
At Society, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will come along right as Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is working out the details of his deal with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and celebrating. Devon will assume Victoria has been colluding with Nate all along, so he’ll call her out on it.
Victoria will act like she’s not following Devon’s logic, but he’ll feel certain she’s the one who was coming after his company. Devon will basically rant about how greedy Victoria is and how she’s disrespecting Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) legacy.
Nate will act like Victoria should be kept out of this, but Devon won’t agree since she was plotting a takeover using Nate’s shares.
After Devon says he’ll never forgive Nate, he’ll suggest that maybe the Newman Media CEO job won’t be enough. Devon will warn Victoria that Nate might come for her spot next.
Later, Devon will sit alone at a table and contemplate getting in touch with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Suddenly, Devon will hear a commotion nearby and see that Abby’s taking her anger out on some tumbling lemons at the bar.
Abby will acknowledge the problems in her relationship and worry that every negative thing Chance said was true. Devon will offer a little pep talk and crack a joke to lift Abby’s spirits, so she’ll pull him into a hug.
