The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 22, teases that Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will have a mystery pitch for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) follows Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) home after his failed marriage proposal.
At Crimson Lights, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will assure Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) that Adam was helpful with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and their difficult conversation.
Chelsea will thank Billy for listening and talk about settling in upstairs before suggesting it’s going to be a great Thanksgiving. Billy will agree that Chelsea has a lot to be thankful for.
At Society, Daniel will tell Lily about Heather Stevens (Jennifer Landon) getting a short-term gig working in Portugal.
Lucy Romalotti went to spend a few months there as well, so Lily will assume Daniel must miss them like crazy.
After laughing about the good old days, Daniel will praise Lily’s work at Chancellor-Winters.
Lily will ask about Daniel’s art, but he’ll admit he’s taking a break and will hint about a new direction he wants to tell her about soon.
Daniel will also mention how he read that Billy and Lily were a couple.
Lily will open up about working with Billy, so Daniel will mention the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) story retraction and how it led to them losing ChancComm.
Once Lily says they got past that incident, Daniel will wonder if there have been others.
That’ll leave Lily asking what’s with all the questions about her company, but Daniel will act like he’s just trying to stay informed on the people he left behind.
As Daniel reflects on his return, he’ll suggest he’s been seeing some familiar yet different and older faces. “But you, Lily…you look…” Daniel will gush.
Suddenly, Billy will walk over before Daniel can finish his thought. Daniel will mention being in town for Thanksgiving or maybe longer.
It turns out Daniel will also have a mysterious idea he wants to run by both Billy and Lily, so Lily will vow to have her assistant get in touch about an appointment.
Once Daniel exits, Billy and Lily will make Thanksgiving plans together.
Since Billy will worry about Chelsea’s own plans with Adam and Connor falling through, he’ll think they should be a backup option.
Billy will suggest Chelsea and Connor could spend Thanksgiving with them if necessary, but Lily will think he’s offering help that Chelsea may not even need.
Lily will feel like they should just enjoy the holiday and see what happens.
At The Glam Club, Sally will shut down a somewhat drunk Adam’s marriage proposal. Adam will grab Sally to stop her from leaving, but Nick will warn him to get his hands off her now.
Sally will end up leaving with Nick, who’ll get updates on Adam’s marriage proposal once they’re back in her suite.
Nick will think Adam is willing to say or do anything to end their relationship, but he’ll assure Sally they won’t let that happen.
After a tender goodbye, Nick will head home to Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). It won’t be long until Adam shows up, so Sally will reluctantly let him in and stop him from hitting the mini bar.
Adam will acknowledge his mistakes, but he’ll think they were magic together and will act like Sally can’t show Nick the real her.
When it comes to Nick, Adam will think his brother just cares about what happens in the bedroom.
After Adam once again points out Nick is trying to replace Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), he’ll reflect on Nick not being able to make it work with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Chelsea.
Adam will hint about it being no wonder Chelsea did something, so Sally will question what he means.
In the end, Adam will urge Sally to forget all the booze and rambling.
All Adam will want Sally to focus on is their connection, so he’ll tell her to think about his proposal – which came from the heart.
Back at Crimson Lights, Nick will cross paths with Chelsea and talk to her about Thanksgiving plans.
Soon after, Nick will bump into Daniel, so he’ll talk about how thrilled Phyllis and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) are going to be.
In Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) suite, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will order Tucker to let him in.
That’ll lead to Jack confronting Tucker about going after Jabot and warning that it’s not going to work.
Jack will argue that Tucker can’t win back Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) AND steal the company. Furthermore, Jack will think Tucker’s a fool to believe Ashley would ever fall in love with him again.
Once Tucker insists Jack is no match for him alone, he’ll refuse to deny that he’s coming after the company. Tucker will prefer to keep Jack guessing instead.
At the Abbott house, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will complain about Ashley putting a target on her back with the Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) drama.
Ashley will argue that this could be Diane’s last chance to run before it’s too late.
Diane will insist Tucker is using Ashley, so they’ll bicker until Jack arrives to shut them down.
Once Diane insists her only goal is to protect this family, she’ll warn Ashley about the potential for catastrophe.
Jack will think Diane is right since he just talked to Tucker, who indeed seems to be targeting Jabot.
Diane will feel like Ashley needs allies to figure out what Tucker’s planning and try to stop it.
That’ll leave Diane acting like there’d be no better ally than her in this situation.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane and Ashley have more conflict ahead of them, so stay tuned.
